Minutes from 14 November 2009 Meeting

Minutes of the last minute meeting were proposed by Grahame Rowley and seconded by Steve Foster.

  • Armed Services Day

    Planned to take place at the Salisbury Game on Saturday 6th February. Brian Flynn to speak with Darren Gregory.

    Race Night

    Booked and confirmed for the 24th April after the last home game of the season against Cambridge United.

  • Pensioners’ Christmas Dinner

    Thank you to the following who helped make this event such a success: Grahame and Karen Rowley, Phil Jones, Dave Johnson, Brian Southworth, John Skelhorn, Jenny Heslop, Graham Heathcote, The Cresta Court Hotel & Marks and Spencer, Altrincham. 35 People attended and had a great time & £333.50 was raised for the club.

    An excellent night with £250 of ticket sales & bar takings of over £500.

    Rock is selling in both the Club Shop & Snack Bars.

    We currently have 137 members.

  • SMS Competitions

    Brian Flynn has received details from the firm that Preston North End F.C. use. Preston advised that they do not make very much from these competitions (e.g. sending a text message to vote for the Man of The Match) & as the set up costs are several hundred pounds, we decided not to pursue this venture.

  • Future Meetings

    Brian Flynn to request support to organise this event via Club website & match programme.
