Matters Arising from the Minutes of the 22nd August 2009 Meeting

  • Co-op Bank Account Signatories

    Letter sent to Co-Op to request change of signatories.

  • Alty Rock

    Brian Flynn to set up a single design label. It was agreed that the rock lettering would be ‘Alty F.C.’

  • Golf Days

    Two Golf Days to be organised in 2010 (March & October).

  • Rocky Robin

    Andrew Nash has received two more quotes for mascot costumes. Andrew to progress the cheapest quote and we need to try to get Rocky Robin sponsored.

  • Newsletter

    Aim is to distribute at Gateshead home match on September 29th.

  • Man of the Match SMS Competition

    Brian Flynn has spoken to Preston North End F.C., however their response levels have been quite low. Literature has been requested from a company called Wincast.

    Steve Foster proposed that the minutes were accepted and this was seconded by Gareth Thomas.

    Tickets need to be printed by mid October. Brian Flynn to speak with Grahame Rowley regarding contacting local businesses for prizes. Also an appeal for people to help sell tickets at home and away games. Draw to take place 1st January

    Steve Foster to try to purchase a set of numbered balls to use for the draw. Brian Flynn to speak to Karen Rowley regarding best dates for winners to attend.

    Gareth Thomas suggested that we run this scheme again. Gareth Thomas and Steve Foster to design a pitch on a whiteboard which can be used on matchdays as a sales aid. Gareth Thomas to launch via website, forum and match programme.
