NEIL GIBSON'S VIEW
Alty TV has a post-match interview with manager Neil Gibson following the 4-2 win over Scunthorpe United. He praised his assistant Lee Jones and former Manchester City man Andy Morrison for their set-piece coaching which has led to recent goals for the team.
Sam Barnes's injury against Scunthope United has been initially diagnosed as a back spasm so it is hoped that he will not be sidelined for long.
ALTRINCHAM 4-2 SCUNTHORPE UNITED

Altrincham complete their first return fixture of the season on Saturday when they travel to Aldershot Town, who were their opposition at the JDS on the opening day of the season. Alty won that game 3-2.

The Shots were heavily beaten on Saturday, 5-1 at York City, and lie second bottom in the National League.

ALTY OLD BOYS
Phil Jordan reports that on Saturday in...League One : ALI SMITH played the whole game as AFC Wimbledon, having led 3 times, eventually shared 6 goals at Huddersfield Town.
Shortly after Northampton Town opened the scoring at Home Park, Plymouth Argyle withdrew OWEN DALE in the 62nd minute. That did nothing to help their cause as the Cobblers added 2 further goals, taking full advantage of Argyle having a man sent off just 3 minutes after Owen's departure.
Surprisingly, Stevenage left CARL PIERGIANNI on the bench at Wigan Athletic, where they forced a goalless draw.
League Two : Given his appearance for Blackburn Rovers U21 in midweek, it's probable that CHARLIE OLSON'S loan spell at Oldham Athletic has been terminated. However REAGAN OGLE (left) was an unused substitute at Accrington Stanley, where they fell to the only goal of the game.
Both TOBY MULLARKEY and HARRISON HOLGATE played throughout Fleetwood Town's 2-1 defeat at MK Dons.
All the goals in Chesterfield's 1-2 home defeat by Swindon Town had been scored when they withdrew JAMES BERRY after 68 minutes.
A full shift from JAKE BICKERSTAFF couldn't prevent Cheltenham Town going down 2-0 at Cheltenham Town.
Barrow trailed 2-1 at Newport County when they withdrew ELLIOT NEWBY after 65 minutes, before coming back to draw 2-2.
Crawley Town are still without DANNY CASHMAN, and despite leading twice they lost 4-3 at Salford City, for whom KEVIN BERKOE was a 90th minute substitu
National League : Both goals in Wealdstone's 1-1 draw at Solihull Moors came before the break. Moors withdrew TYRESE SINCLAIR (right) after 57 minutes.
CHRIS CONN-CLARKE was withdrawn in the 91st minute, but REGAN LINNEY stayed the distance as Carlisle United eventually broke down the stubborn resistance of visitors Tamworth to win 2-1.
JUSTIN DONAWA picked up a yellow card, and was withdrawn after 65 minutes as Brackley Town lost 2-0 at Woking .
MATT PENNEY last started a league match for Aldershot at Altrincham on the opening day of the season. This afternoon was actually his first full match performance for the Hampshire club, but it ended badly for him at York City, for whom ALEX NEWBY put in a full shift as they won 5-1.
In the evening kick-off at Boreham Wood, JEFF KING completed ninety minutes for the home side who maintained their good form by beating FC Halifax Town 2-1
National North : MICHAEL GYASI (left) recently transferred from King's Lynn to Kidderminster Harriers, and he scored his first goal for them to give them the lead in their home clash with Chorley. He was substituted after 84 minutes as his new team went on to win 3-1.
SAM HEATHCOTE gave Macclesfield a half time lead, but visitors Scarborough Athletic fought back to draw 1-1.
Chester went ahead through DYLAN MOTTLEY-HENRY after 15 minutes at Spennymoor. TOM PEERS also started. Chester increased their lead, but it was to no avail as the game was abandoned due to waterlogging after 56 minutes, denying JAMES JONES the chance to join the action.
National South : ASHLEY HEMMINGS wasn't in the Dagenham & Redbridge squad at AFC Totton, but they won 0-5, largely due to Andy Carroll notching a hat trick in the first 33 minutes.
Maidenhead United hit 6 goals in midweek, and, while MILES WELCH-HAYES (right) and his colleagues were less prolific this afternoon, they comfortably won their home match against bottom club Chippenham Town 3-0.
Northern Ireland Premiership : SAM ROSCOE was withdrawn after 75 minutes as Linfield won their home game with Carrick Rangers 3-1.
Scottish Premiership : MARCUS DACKERS came off Kilmarnock's bench after 81 minutes of their 1-1 home draw with Dundee United.
NWCL Premier Division : SHERIFF NJIE put Cheadle Town ahead at AFC Liverpool, but the hosts earned a 2-2 draw in added time.

ALTRINCHAM 4-2 SCUNTHORPE UNITED
After 88 minutes Altrincham were undeservedly 1-2 down; after the minimum of four added minutes had been played in torrential sleet and rain, the Robins had won 4-2.Although Altrincham had started well and had created, but spurned a couple of early chances, The Iron took the lead against the run of play in the 14th minute when Ubaezuonu's impressive over head kick found the net from a ball from the right.
Alty found an equaliser in the 34th minute from Crawford's clever near-post header, converting an Osborne corner from the right.
With centre-back Sassi suspended, his replacement Barnes suffered a back injury just before half-time and had to be replaced by midfielder Ward.
Left: Olly Crankshaw
In the second half Scunthorpe retook the lead just before the hour mark when a low ball from the left was smartly finished by Beestin (59 mins).
Alty struggled to find a leveller but, with time running out and manager Neil Gibson cutting an increasingly frustrated figure, Matty Kosylo converted a ball from the right from Reddin to level the score once again (89 mins).
The manager's spirits were lifted following an Alty corner, when the ball reached Crankshaw via Ward and the substitute winger's lob found the net to give Altrincham the lead (90+1 mins).
Scunthorpe keeper Mahady had already come up for one corner before advancing for a second flag-kick for his side deep into added time. On this occasion, however, from the Iron corner Crankshaw got past an opponent deep in the Alty half and ran the length of the pitch to score into the unguarded net and make it 4-2 (90+5 mins).
Crankshaw's goals were his first for the club in his 27th game across two and a half injury-ravaged seasons.

BEFORE THE GAME: ALTRINCHAM v SCUNTHORPE UNITED
Altrincham welcome Scunthorpe United to the J. Davidson Stadium today for the first match since Neil Gibson and Lee Jones were conformed as permanent managerial appointments. So far the duo have secured three wins, a draw and a defeat in their Enterprise National League tenure as interim manager and assistant respectively.
No fewer than eight players have started every one of those four games, a total that might well have risen to nine had goalkeeper Luke Hutchinson been sidelined by the concussion protocols.
As well as the suspended centre-back Dan Sassi, Altrincham are expected to be without a number of long/medium-term injured defenders and goalkeepers, namely Ethan Ross, Billy Sass-Davies, Sam Reed, Louis Fallon and Lewis Banks.
In addition, winger Olly Crankshaw missed the previous game through illness and his state of fitness today is unclear.
ALTY OLD BOYS
Phil Jordan reports that in the Premier League Cup, captained by JACK KINGDON, Cardiff City U21 visited their Burnley counterparts, but went down 3-1.The defeat practically ends their involvement in the competition, which is still in its group stage, as they have only a single point from 3 games.
ENTERPRISE NATIONAL LEAGUE NEWS
York City "announce the signing of defender Zak Johnson on loan until January.
The 21-year-old defender joins us on loan from Premier League side Sunderland AFC...
In the 2023/24 season, Johnson took two loan spells away from Sunderland, joining Hartlepool United in the National League and then League of Ireland side Dundalk for the second half of the season. Featuring 28 times for both clubs.
In January 2025, Zak joined up with Stuart Maynard’s Notts County side where he featured 10 times for the now City manager.
The defender will now team up with the Minstermen until January".
Aldershot Town "are delighted to [join] with South Western Railway [to] showcase a project which has been in the making since our trip to Wembley.
To celebrate our historic FA Trophy win in May, there has now been an introduction of a South Western Railway train named the ‘Phoenix’.
At Aldershot station yesterday, Hady Ghandour, Dejan Tetek, Olly Scott and ATFC staff attended the unveiling.
This train will be travelling all over the south east, so make sure to take some snaps if you find yourself travelling on the Phoenix train.
The Aldershot station also has a new sign, and when entering or leaving the station, you’ll see you’ve arrived at Aldershot Town, home of the FA Trophy winners 2024/25.
The club would like to give huge thanks to the South Western Railway staff for their work with this project, which highlights our continued work together".
The Daily Star adds that "Shots chairman Shahid Azeem led the unveiling...
Also in attendance was club legend Terry Brown, first team goalkeeper coach David Smalley and David Josey, a life-long Aldershot fan and formerly SWR’s Station Manager for Aldershot, who ensured that the club's flags were flying at the station for many thousands that took SWR services to the FA Trophy final".
Rochdale "announce the signing of Ryan Galvin.
The 24-year-old joins the club on an initial two-month loan from League Two side Barnet.
Galvin, who operates as a left-sided defender... [said] 'I’m delighted to be here... I’ve played the last two seasons in this league and got to the playoffs twice, so hopefully I can come to Rochdale, go all the way and get promoted'...
In June 2023, FC Halifax Town captured his signature, [with him] going on to spend two seasons at the Shaymen, making over 70 appearances...
After the Bees’ promotion to the EFL, he made the move down south".
In other news, Rochdale state that at the Crown Oil Arena, "the playing surface continues to suffer from waterlogging, which has resulted in two postponements so far this season. The pitch has performed worse than expected, sooner than expected, to such a degree that the Club has no confidence that we would be able to complete our scheduled fixtures this season without taking immediate action.
We have been deploying the inflatable MacLeod Cover system for recent fixtures, which has proved invaluable. However, it is not, in our view, a viable solution for a sustained period of time and will ultimately not prevent the continued deterioration of the playing surface over the winter months.
Faced with this situation, the Club has sought, and received, permission from the National League to undertake a mid-season full rebuild of the pitch at the Crown Oil Arena... This rebuild will involve removing the entire profile of the pitch down to the drains. We will install new drainage and a gravel bed... a HERO hybrid carpet will form the playing surface, which will then be immediately playable.
Undertaking a pitch rebuild mid-season is not a straightforward process and does place an unwelcome financial burden on the club...
The build process will take approximately 4-5 weeks. Works are scheduled to commence on Sunday 7th December, immediately after the rescheduled match against Southend United. There are two matches which will be affected by the rebuild, against Hartlepool United (Tuesday 30th December) and Brackley Town (Saturday 3rd January).
The Club is in advanced discussions regarding an alternative location for these games to be played... Our planned return to the Crown Oil Arena is for the match against Truro City on Saturday 24th January".

SIXTH ALTY FIXTURE CHANGE ANNOUNCED
On X Hartlepool United announce that "Our Enterprise National League fixture at home to Altrincham on Saturday 17th January will now kick off at 12:30 due to DAZN coverage".
To date, no Altrincham league fixtures have had to be rearranged due to bad weather or a clash with a cup-tie date but, with the season less than halfway towards completion, the latest announcement is already the sixth alteration to a date or kick-off time, or both, announced to facilitate DAZN's streaming of an Altrincham league fixture.
So far, the announced changes have been:
- Sat.16.8.25 Away v Rochdale, kick-off changed from 3pm to 12.30pm
- Sat.23.8.25 Away v Morecambe, kick-off changed from 3pm to 12.30pm
- Sat.6.9.25 Home v Sutton United, kick-off changed from 3pm to 12.30pm
- Wed.5.11.25 Home v Boston United, date moved from 4.11.25

- Sat.17.1.26 Away v Hartlepool United, kick-off changed from 3pm to 12.30pm
NEXT: SCUNTHORPE UNITED
Alty are at home to sixth-placed Scunthorpe United on Saturday. The Iron have a game in hand on Altrincham yet have a lead of 14 points over their hosts.Altrincham have met eight teams in the top eleven this season and taken just a single point, from a draw at Wealdstone), from the 24 available.
But Alty can take some hope from Scunthorpe's recent form which has produced just two wins in their last seven outings. In the six league matches in that sequence all of their opponents were currently 12th or lower in the table.
- National League Away 1-1 DRAW v Boston United
- National League Away 1-1 DRAW v Eastleigh
- National League Home 2-1 WIN v Aldershot Town
- FA Cup First Round Away 0-1 LOSS v Blackpool
- National League Home 1-0 WIN v Yeovil Town
- National League Away 0-3 LOSS v Solihull Moors
- National League Home 1-1 DRAW v Braintree Town
Overall, however, having lost just twice this season in the National League, Scunthorpe would be even higher in the league but for their having drawn more times per fixture than any other club; seven draws in 19 outings.
Conversely, apart from Rochdale, Altrincham's two draws this season make them the second bottom of the draw specialists' table.
One player has appeared in all 19 league fixtures for Scunthorpe United this campaign; he is Declan Howe but six of his appearances have been from the bench. In terms of starts, midfielder Joe Rowley is the leader with 18 starts.
The club's leading scorer is Danny Whitehall with eight goals and two assists to date. Whitehall's former clubs range from Southport, Marine and Prescot Cables in NW England, via Chatanooga (Tennessee) and Bugeaters FC (Nebraska) in the USA, to Maidenhead United, Kilmarnock and Eastleigh.
Indeed, three years ago last Wednesday, Whitehall scored at Moss Lane against Altrincham, for Eastleigh.
ALTY OLD BOYS
Former Alty player PETER BAND (right) has posted on X that "After been [sic] out of football for a couple of weeks I am happy to be joining @FGRFC_Official [Forest Green Rovers] and join up with the Gaffer [Robbie Savage] as the scout for the North 💚⚽️💚.".
Band previously worked alongside Savage at Macclesfield FC.
News of former Alty players or loanees in action on Thursday comes from Phil Jordan...
League Two: CONNOR JENNINGS started for Tranmere Rovers at Grimsby Town, where his side, having led at the break, had been pegged back by hosts when he picked up a yellow card, and was soon substituted in the 79th minute.
The Mariners brought on JUSTIN AMALUZOR in the 87th minute, but the Merseyside club snatched a 96th minute winner to pull further clear of the relegation zone, and prevent their hosts from going into the weekend in the playoff spots.

Boston United "have clinched the loan signing of Southend United centre-half Adam Crowther.
The 24-year-old has linked up with the Pilgrims until mid-January initially, with captain [and ex-Alty trialist] ZAK MILLS set for a spell on the sidelines with a hamstring injury.
Prior to joining the Shrimpers, Crowther enjoyed two seasons with King's Lynn Town and featured in all four festive encounters against the Pilgrims in 2022-2023 and 2023-2024".

NEIL GIBSON INTERVIEWED
Altrincham FC's press and media officer Brian Flynn has conducted the first interview with Neil Gibson following his confirmation as permament manager of the club after being in charge for six games as interim manager. The full interview is available, courtesy of Alty TV.
Accompanying text says that "Neil and Lee have made a positive impact that has been felt on and off the pitch since their arrival in an interim capacity a month ago.
Our Enterprise National League results have taken a significant turn for the better, with a goalless draw on the road at Braintree Town followed by maximum points from the next three games to herald a welcome return to winning ways for the team.
As outlined by chairman Mark Luby when the appointment was announced yesterday, the same favourable impression has been felt beyond the changing room and throughout the club, making Neil the ideal candidate to take us forward, with Lee alongside him.
It is a move that has been greeted with widespread approval".
And in the Sale & Altrincham Messenger press and media officer John Edwards quotes the new manager as saying " “My overriding emotion is one of excitement at the opportunity that presents itself to move this club forward.
“What a fantastic club, and what a fantastic opportunity... The players have been fantastic in the way they have bought into everything we are trying to do, and all the staff and volunteers have been so welcoming. We felt like it was somewhere we wanted to be. It felt like home".
NEXT: SCUNTHORPE UNITED
When Altrincham entertain Scunthorpe United on Saturday, they will be without the suspended Dan Sassi, who was sent off at Southend last week.
Also likely to be still missing are the injured Ethan Ross, Lewis Banks, Sam Reed, Billy Sass-Davies and Louie Fallon. Winger Olly Crankshaw missed last weekend's match with illness but his current state of health is unknown.
Last time out, in a Clash of the Irons, Braintree Town reported that they journeyd "north for their first visit to fellow Iron - Scunthorpe United - on Saturday and returned home with a deserved point from a 1-1 draw.
The North Lincolnshire side took a fifteenth minute lead when Jean Belehouand nodded home a flick-on from a left side corner. Braintree could have levelled minutes later, but Sahin Kamara saw his spot kick well saved by home keeper Rory Malady after Terrell Works had been fouled in the home 18-yard box.
Braintree continued to take the game to home side after the interval and were eventually rewarded when substitute Tom Blackwell pounced on an under hit back-pass to steer the ball past Mahady with just four minutes remaining to secure a deserved equaliser".

Cumbria's News and Star reports that "Peterborough United owner Darragh MacAnthony has confirmed that Carlisle United have an option to sign CHRIS CONN-CLARKE on a permanent basis...Last week, Darragh MacAnthony said that Posh, who have loaned the 24-year-old to Carlisle United until January, have a 'deal in place' that would see the League One club make 'a profit' on the 24-year-old.
He clarified his quotes... stating 'What I said was, Carlisle have an option to buy him, of course they do, which is a profit on what we paid.
'But there are other clubs, who are going to want to buy him as well, because he is flying, what I want to say is there is a deal done if Carlisle want to do a deal, and the player agrees. But there are other league clubs who want to buy him'...
He has made eight appearances for Mark Hughes's side, scoring three and assisting five... His current loan deal runs out in January".
ENTERPRISE NATIONAL LEAGUE NEWS
Gateshead confirm the loan signing of Oxford United defender Aidan Elliott-Walker.
The wing-back joins... on temporary terms until January 4, 206, having spent the 2024/25 season on loan in the enterprise National League North and South with Oxford City and Salisbury, racking up a combined 27 appearances.
Captain of Oxford United's under-21 side, Elliott-Wheeler made his senior debut in Septmeber 2023 at the age of 17 and has also spent time with Banbury United and Hemel Hempstead Town in recent seasons...
'I want to prove to myself and to other people that I'm not a step-two player' said Elliott-Wheeler... I want to be a bit of a leader at the back. I don't want to see myself as a young lad who is quiet and I think I'll be able to show that in the coming weeks'".
Rochdale "have hired inflatable dome pitch covers again, ahead of Saturday’s Enterprise National League game at home to Eastleigh.
The MacLeod Covers, which were used ahead of our match against Aldershot Town less than a fortnight ago, will be in situ from Wednesday lunchtime.
They will remain on the Crown Oil Arena surface until as late as possible on Saturday morning, after which time the groundstaff will prepare the pitch for the game.
As previously communicated, the pitch has 100% focus of the Club, and we are looking at all available options that can help provide a solution to our issues".
Over the Pennines at FC Halifax Town, their under-19s' fixture on Wednesday had to be postponed owing to a frozen pitch.
They may be struggling in the league but Truro City have "sealed a spot in round two of the National League Cup despite a 3-0 reverse against a slick West Ham United under-21s, writes Tom Howe...
Other results however, mean City’s progress in the competition is now confirmed.
The opportunity to get minutes into players was one not passed up by City boss John Askey, who made eight changes to the team that started Saturday’s 3-2 domestic defeat at home to Sutton United
With the top two teams in each group progressing to the knockout stage, tonight’s set of results leave the Tinners facing an anxious wait to learn their fate, with group winners being seeded in round two and runners-up unseeded.
The Hammers’ triumph... moves them within a point of leaders Truro and with a game in hand, against Aldershot on December 9".

ALTY'S NEW MANAGEMENT
Alty chairman Mark Luby confirmed on 25 November that Neil Gibson had been appointed as permanent manager of Altrincham FC till the end of 2026-27 season. This decision came after Gibson had been in charge of the team for six matches since his appointment as interim manager on 23 October 2025.
Also confirmed by the Altrincham Board as a permamanet appointment was Lee Jones, Neil's assistant manager.
The duo initially inherited an Altrincham team which had not won a game inside ninety minutes after ten attempts.
in seven league fixtures the team had suffered six defeats and one draw and in three cup games, (two in the FA Cup and one in the Cheshire Senior Cup) the team had produced a draw, a defeat and an extra-time win against ten-men.
Since taking over on an interim basis, in their six matches in charge, Gibson and Jones have halted Alty's poor run, securing a draw and three wins in their first four league matches before a 3-0 defeat at Southend United last weekend.
Also disappointing for the duo was a defeat at Slough Town in the FA Cup, a tie in which Altrincham were reduced to ten men, although that dismissal of Elliot Osborne was later rescinded.
Overall, therefore, the interim management period of six fixtures had witnessed three wins, a draw and two defeats.
Neil and Ian had previously overseen 20 games at Wealdstone in 2025, winning eight fixtures, drawing four and losing eight, earning 28 points to keep the north London club in the National League at the end of last season.
FAN ZONE PLANS
The Manchester Evening News reports that "Fifth-tier football club Altrincham has applied for planning permission to extend the fan zone area at its ground.

The club... has submitted a planning application to Trafford council for consent to expand the area currently measuring 2,500 sq ft.
A previous application was submitted five years ago, amid the Covid pandemic, followed by an amended one in 2023 that was approved in 2024.
The submission tabled with drawings by B2 Architecture says 'Since the opening of the area, the club has seen its success and improvement of the home fans’ game experience together with the re-arrangement of the exit gate in the north-west corner.'
Under the plans, the container that [is] home to the club shop would be resited, making the exit from the ground easier and safer...
'The area wouldn’t increase how many people are employed there, or the times of opening, only an increase in capacity of the footprint area of the fan zone.'”
NEXT: SCUNTHORPE UNITED
Neil Gibson and Lee Jones's first match as interim managers of Altrincham was in late October against The Iron (Braintree Town). Now, their first fixture as permanent managers is also against The Iron, albeit this time the club in question is Scunthorpe United not Braintree Town.
Coincidentally, both "Irons" met last week and Scunthorpe United report that they have "received a report of an alleged racist incident in the Threadgold Stand from Saturday's home encounter against Braintree Town.
The club condemns this allegation in the strongest possible terms and reaffirms that there is absolutely no place for racism or discrimination of any kind at the Attis Arena or within our football community.
We are treating this matter with the utmost seriousness and have begun an internal review. We are now appealing for witnesses who may have seen or heard anything relevant to come forward".
Happier news from Scunthorpe United is that The Iron are now "offering a unique opportunity to be part of our latest stadium tours during this December, with one exclusive viewing.
With a unique, limited chance to get behind the scenes at the Attis Arena, Head of Partnerships Glyn Sparks will be leading the tour around the ground into all available areas of our home.
From the home dressing room and tunnel, to the boot room, our executive areas, and even an exclusive visit to our Boardroom, where many of the Iron's past accolades are housed, supporters will be able to get up close and personal to a number of areas otherwise unseen by the general public on a day-to-day basis.
With photograph opportunities throughout the tour, there will also be chance to meet some familiar faces around the club over the course of the experience, along with the opportunity to have your picture taken with our Promotion Final winning trophy".

Phil Jordan's update on Tuesday's games starts in the Professional Development League, where, captained by JACK KINGDON, Cardiff City U21 comfortably won their away fixture at Charlton Athletic 0-3.
National League Cup : MATT PENNEY got a full appearance under his belt, although he picked up a yellow card as Aldershot beat visitors Fulham U21 2-1. Meanwhile LIAM HUMBLES (right) also took his opportunity to play a full game for Rochdale, who saw off Everton U21 by the only goal.
Leicester City U21 were 1-3 ahead at Boreham Wood inside half an hour, but eventually lost 4-3. JEFF KING was booked only 4 minutes after coming off the bench in the 54th minute.
Tamworth rested KENNEDY DIGIE, but an unexpected face in the lineup for visitors Blackburn Rovers U21 was CHARLIE OLSON, who hasn't been getting much action during his loan spell at Oldham Athletic. Unfortunately he was on the wrong end of 3 unanswered goals.
JUSTIN DONOWA played the whole of Brackley Town's 2-1 defeat of Burnley U21.

NWCL Premier Division : It took JOHN JOHNSTON just 2 minutes to give Irlam the lead at Atherton Laburnum Rovers. 18 minutes later he struck again, and then rounded off the scoring in a 1-4 win to complete a hat trick just after the hour mark, before leaving the action in the 76th minute.
SHERIFF NJIE put Cheadle Town ahead twice, but visitors Longridge Town fought back to draw 2-2.
Manchester Premier Cup 1st Round : RON SITHOLE was handed a start for FC United, but they trailed visitors Abbey Hey until the 94th minute. However, they lost the resultant shootout 4-5.
Wythenshawe Town reacted to being 2 goals down at the break to Glossop North End at Ericstan Park by bringing on ASTLEY MULHOLLAND for the second half. They achieved a fine comeback to win 5-3.

Like Altrincham, Yeovil Town have been operating recently with an interim manager; in their case it was Richard Dryden. However, unlike Altrincham where hours earlier, the interim manager was made permanent, the Glovers have gone for an outside appointment as the BBC confirms that they "have named Billy Rowley as their new manager on a two-and-a-half-year contract.
Rowley has left seventh-tier Walton & Hersham to become Yeovil's fourth manager in the dugout this campaign.
He has taken over from Richard Dryden, who had been in interim charge of the National League club since replacing Danny Webb.
Webb quit his role as manager after just one game and returned to former club Chesterfield as assistant manager in October, after Mark Cooper was sacked in August...
Rowley told Yeovil's website 'When a club like Yeovil call you up, it is incredibly hard to turn that down'.
Walton & Hersham say they received an approach for Rowley during their Southern League Premier South match against Hungerford Town on Saturday.
He spent 18 months in charge of the Surrey club and has left them top of the league with a game in hand".
At Yeovil Town, "Chairman Prabhu Srinivasan added, 'Our focus is clear: progressive, attacking football, a strong identity, and a commitment to developing players at Huish Park.
In Billy Rowley, we found exactly what we were looking for. I’ve watched his Walton side firsthand, the quality of his setup, the clarity of his ideas, and the intensity of his football are unmistakable. Speaking with him only reinforced that he was the standout choice.
'Billy is the manager we wanted, and we are delighted to bring him to the club.'”
Also arriving at Yeovil Town is "Darren Simpson as Assistant Manager, reuniting him with new manager Billy Rowley... following him from their successful time together at Walton and Hersham".
Aldershot Town's "First-Team Management and the Club wishes to update supporters on several members of the squad...
- The club can announce the non-contract signing of former Reading goalkeeper, Coniah Boyce-Clarke.
- [Goalkeeper] Pat Nash will be out for at least 3 weeks as he follows concussion protocol after sustaining a head injury on Saturday.
- Sam Inwood fell ill on Friday and has been prescribed antibiotics for an infection by a local Doctor.
- Josh Barrett ended up in hospital after becoming ill earlier in the week, he is on antibiotics and is slowly recovering.

NEIL GIBSON APPOINTED
Altrincham FC "are delighted to confirm Neil Gibson [right] has been appointed permanent manager of Altrincham FC.
After a strong initial four-week spell in charge of the first team, Neil and assistant Lee Jones have signed contracts through to the end of the 2026/27 season.
Talking about the appointment, Chairman Mark Luby said 'The club has gone through a full process in appointing a new permanent manger. The decision to appoint Neil Gibson and Lee Jones was not taken purely on the results.
'Neil and Lee have demonstrated to the Board over the four weeks since they came into the building that they have all the experience and necessary skills to keep current momentum and continue to move us in the right direction. I would like to congratulate them both on their appointment, they thoroughly deserve this chance, and I am looking forward to working closely with them in the coming seasons.'
We look forward to the future under the management of Neil and Lee and are positive all our fans, volunteers and sponsors will give them and the squad the backing to drive the team on for the rest of the season and beyond.
Look out for Neil's first Alty TV interview as permanent Alty manager coming tomorrow across club channels".
NEXT: SCUNTHORPE UNITED
Scunthorpe are the visitors to the J. Davidson Stadium on Saturday.Altrincham last welcomed Scunthorpe United in 2022-23 season, at the end of which The Iron were relegated from the National League after finishing 16 points from safety.
The following season Scunthorpe finished second in National North but, after a goalless draw, they lost 6-5 on penalties in the play-off semi-finals to Lincolnshire neighbours Boston United.
They repeated their second-placed finish in 2024-25 but this time they emerged triumphant from the play-offs after defeating Chorley and Chester FC.
So, Scunthorpe last played in Altrincham on a Tuesday night, 13 September 2022, in a match which ended in a 2-2 draw. The clubs started the game as the bottom two in the division, with the visitors the only club below the hosts.

Above: Before kick-off when the sides last met at the JDS, Alty are shown lining up for a pre-match minute's silence to mark the passing of Queen Elizabeth II.
An 81st minute equaliser from RYAN COLCLOUGH against his former club gave Altrincham a point which they well deserved.
The match had been barely three minutes old when a floodlight failure along one side of the pitch halted the game for nearly eight minutes before it resumed. After a first-half of often frantic play, and a lack of composure from both sides, it was deep into the eight added minutes before the interval when Altrincham took the lead.
Good play from ROSS BARROWS (another ex-Scunthorpe player) and Conn-Clarke on the right saw the latter's shot blocked by the keeper but the ball fell for Elliot Osborne to net (45+5 mins).
The visitors rocked Altrincham with two goals in four minutes midway through the second half. First Butterfield netted after a Scunthorpe advance up the left by Apter had seen the ball come out to the former Barnsley man, who scored comfortably (65 mins).
The Iron were then awarded a rather fortuitous penalty, following a corner, when Osborne was adjudged to have barged over substitute Beestin on the front edge of the box. JOE NUTTALL, later to join Altrincham on loan, converted the penalty convincingly (69 mins).
But Altrincham were to dominate the final fifteen minutes and got their deserved reward in the 81st minute when an advance up the right by substitute Kaja ended with the ball falling to Colclough to steer home an equalizer.
The visitors were content to slow down the game, seemingly content with a draw, a result which left the two clubs where they started the evening, as the bottom two in the National League, and also left Alty still seeking a win after eight fixtures of that season.
ALTRINCHAM: 1. Oliver Byrne, 22. Ross Barrows, 5. Toby Mullarkey (c), 26. James Jones, 2. Eddy Jones, 10. Elliot Osborne, 8. Josh Lundstram, 31. Dan Malone, 16. Chris Conn-Clarke, 11. Ryan Colclough, 30. Marcus Dinanga. Subs: 3. Liam Brockbank, 17. Brad Jackson, 23. Jake Cooper, 33. Egli Kaja, 27. Aaron Bennett.

THROUGH THE YEARS: 29 November
It is eleven years since Altrincham last played on next Saturday's date, 29 November, when Scunthorpe United are due to visit the J. Davidson Stadium.Howard Watts and Mike Garnett's Through the Years data record all Alty games on that date. Back on 29 November 2014 Altrincham entertained Kidderminster Harriers at Moss Lane in the Vanarama Conference.
Right: Mike Ripley captured Damian Reeves's winner against the Harriers back in 2014.
Altrincham emerged 2-1 winners as, for the second time in a week, they came from behind to take all three points against a team higher than them in the table.
Altrincham were again without Nicky Clee (broken toe) and Scott Leather was serving the first game of his three-match suspension. Damian Reeves, Tom Marshall and Ryan Crowther started in place of Steven Gillespie, Kyle Perry and Leather.
Harriers arrived on a good run of results and they slightly edged the goalless first half without seriously threatening to score. For their part, Alty failed to convert a couple of half chances in the opening stages.
The Harriers took the lead five minutes after the interval. A misplaced pass from James Lawrie allowed Kidderminster to build an attack which Johnson, drifting in from the right, finished with a fine 20-yard shot across Stuart Coburn.
Seven minutes later a fine ball from Densmore set Lawrie free, left of goal, and he finished well to make it 1-1. Altrincham brought on Wilkinson, Williams and Perry and upped the tempo before a fine cross from Griffin was glanced home by the head of Reeves to secure the win (86 mins).
The match was refereed by Cleveland referee, Ross Joyce and Alty lined up as follows... 1. Stuart Coburn, 2. Shaun Densmore (c), 5. Gianluca Havern, 16. Tom Marshall, 3. Adam Griffin, 4. Jake Moult, 25. Peter Cavanagh, 8. Simon Richman, 19. Ryan Crowther, 7. James Lawrie, 10. Damian Reeves. Subs: 14. Kyle Perry, 17. Dave Parton, 9. Steven Gillespie, 18. Sean Williams, 15. Greg Wilkinson.
ALTY OLD BOYS
The Hartlepool Mail "understands that Pools have held talks with Nicky Featherstone, Chris Beech and PHIL PARKINSON (below, right) over the vacant manager's job at Victoria Park.
Pools are now into their seventh week without a permanent boss following the surprise sacking of Simon Grayson, who left following a run of one win in 11 matches, on October 12.
In the interim, veteran midfielder Nicky Featherstone has taken caretaker charge, leading Pools on an impressive run of six games unbeaten... Recent away wins over Halifax and Eastleigh suggest Pools are heading in the right direction under Featherstone...
Last week, Pools were criticised by large sections of the fanbase following a bizarre 'club update' that admitted the hunt for a new manager 'remains ongoing' despite applications from 'some excellent candidates'.
That led to speculation that Pools are not convinced Featherstone is the right man to succeed Grayson on a permanent basis; whatever the case, it was hardly a vote of confidence in the club's third-highest appearance-maker of all-time...
The Hartlepool Mail also understands that Pools have held talks with former Altrincham boss Phil Parkinson. Parkinson was sacked by the Robins in October... He would likely be a popular choice with fans at Victoria Park".
ENTERPRISE NATIONAL LEAGUE NEWS
In his most recent programme notes, Boreham Wood chairman Danny Hunter wrote "In truth, I think our performances over the last two games have other than finishing been pretty damn good and after battering Tamworth here, we just didn’t put our chances away and paid the price with a very undeserved 2-1 defeat. On Saturday we were also good value for our hard earned 3-0 win up at Gateshead, in a game where we completely dominated until going down to 10 men...
I’m very content and happy with [manager] Luke [Garrard], the dressing room, the staff and the whole football club at the moment... I’m also very happy that Luke and Charlie are not resting on their laurels and still looking at improving our squad. That was evidenced recently with the loan additions of Ted Curd from Chelsea, Regan Booty from Barrow and the permanent signing of my ‘old friend’ Mr Zak Brunt from Barnet... Those signings and the return to fitness of Luke Norris and Jack Payne, have allowed us to loan out Junior Dixon to Hampton, Nathan Ashmore to Bedford Town and Aaron Henry to Hornchurch to get themselves game time.
I’m historically a Chairman who’s happy to spend his money if spent wisely, but I do always have one eye on being fiscally responsible. Put bluntly I don’t like wasting money on players sitting in the stand...
Our performances to date have us just two points off the summit and that means we are already overachieving... Even after 27 seasons in the Chair, I still love proving the naysayers, haters and the doubters wrong...
I’m always measured but genuinely believe we can achieve not only a Play Off place this season but a top 5 finish. I also believe we will beat Newport County here in the FA Cup 2nd Round and reach the 3rd Round and who knows where that might take us?".
Brackley Town "announce the return of Danny Newton, who has re-joined the Saints on loan until the end of January.
Striker Danny Newton has returned to Brackley Town on loan from Harborough Town until the end of January 2026.
Danny is a hugely popular figure at St James Park following his previous spell with the club, where his hard work, physical presence and eye for goal made him a firm fans’ favourite. His return provides a significant boost to Gavin Cowan’s squad as we move into a busy period of league and cup action...
Manager Gavin Cowan welcomed the signing, saying 'I'm delighted Danny is back! He is someone who knows the club, knows the supporters and knows what we’re about. He brings energy, experience and a real goal threat. We’re really pleased to have him back with us'".
"Wealdstone produced a stirring performance at The Vale on Saturday afternoon, earning a hard fought and fully deserved 1–1 draw against league leaders Forest Green Rovers...
Sam Cox spoke to Head of Media Joe Campbell after the match... 'We didn’t fear them and that showed today'...
The Stones went into the break 1–0 down... Sam praised his midfield duo, Aygemang and Kadji, for adjusting brilliantly after the break, helping the Stones tighten the middle of the park and dictate more of the game’s tempo.
The second half performance was exceptional: disciplined, hard-working and increasingly dangerous. The equaliser came after sustained pressure, with forward Micah Obiero bundling home from close range...
Wealdstone have now lost just two league games at home all season and much of that resilience owes itself to the growing connection between team and supporters...
'This performance shows we belong on the same pitch as the top sides'" concluded the Stones' boss.
There is mixed news from Gateshead where "Callum Johnson is expected to miss the remainder of the season through injury.
The defender was withdrawn with a hamstring injury..in... our fixture at home to Solihull Moors.
'He's done something to his tendon in his hamstring' said [manager] Alun Armstrong.
'It's a massive blow. When he's fit, he's got real good quality and, on top of that, we've got Connor Pani missing as well so, at the minute, we have six out of eight missing of the defenders'".
There is also more positive news at Gateshead as "Kian Pennant's loan deal has been extended until... December 31.
The forward originally joined Gateshead on a one-month loan from Leicester City until... November 23 and has since gone on to make eight appearances across all competitions".
At National South club Maidenhead United "Alan Devonshire yesterday [Sunday] notified Maidenhead United Football Club of his intention to step down as men’s first team manager.
Dev will be taking charge of our next two fixtures against Salisbury and Chippenham Town, before stepping down after the final whistle on Saturday, 29th November.
From Sunday, 30th November, Ryan Peters will become interim manager of the men’s first team, with Aaron O’Brien becoming assistant manager.
Club Chairman, Peter Griffin, has paid tribute to Alan Devonshire, saying 'Dev’s contribution to Maidenhead United has simply been amazing, overseeing the most successful period of the club’s history, for which we will always be grateful'".

ALTY WOMEN ADVANCE IN FA CUP
On Sunday, Altrincham FC Women faced Northumberland side Ponteland United Women in the Women's FA Cup Second Round, the first time that Alty have reached that stage of the competition.Ponteland play in the Premier Division of the North East Regional Women’s Football League which is a higher level than that at which Altrincham compete.
But Altrincham pulled off a 1-0 win to advance to the Third Round.
Altrincham FC Women's manager Darryl Abrahams spoke to Alty TV after the match.
NEXT: SCUNTHORPE UNITED
Altrincham's next match is at home to sixth-placed Scunthorpe United.
This season is curious in that The Iron are one of three clubs in the top six which were not in the National League last season. Scunthorpe and Boreham Wood were promoted from National North and South respectively, whilst Carlisle United have descended from EFL2. Another top-six club, Forest Green Rovers, only rejoined the Enterprise National League one season ago.
Until a week ago, when they surprisingly lost 3-0 at Solihull Moors, Scunthorpe had lost just one of their league fixtures.
In fact, Scunthorpe have recorded just one win from their last four matches in all competitions, albeit in two of those games they have faced higher-placed opponents.
That win was 1-0 away at Yeovil Town but, preceding that success, the Iron had played a goalless draw at league leaders Rochdale and lost to EFL side Blackpool in the FA Cup.
SOUTHEND'S REACTION
Following his side's 3-0 win over Altrincham on Saturday, Southend United boss Kevin Maher (right) told the NL Paper, "We wanted to start well and get after them because they do play some really good football.
"We had to get amongst them and make it difficult for them, which we did.
"We created plenty of chances and could probably have scored more... Everyone was bang on it today".
The NLP match statistics recorded Southend as having struck fourteen shots on target compared with just two by Altrincham. The Shrimpers also won nine corners against Altrincham's four.
SEEING RED: UPDATE!
The following is an update to last week's article on the subject of red cards in Altrincham matches this season...In the last ten weeks, Altrincham have played 15 times; 12 games in the Enterprise National League and 3 FA Cup ties.
Spectators of those 15 matches have now witnessed no fewer than 9 red cards in total.
Seven of those nine red cards were shown to Alty personnel, albeit one of them was later rescinded on appeal!
The sad litany comprises...
- ENL Match 9: Away ENL v Boreham Wood, Lucas WEAVER (Altrincham) RED

DEFEAT AND A DRAW FOR ACADEMY SIDES
The Altrincham Academy side which plays in the National Football Youth League NW Championship 1 lost 3-2 away last Wednesday (19th) at Liverpool FC's Melwood Training Ground to Liverpool FEFA NWC1.All of the goals came in the first half. The result leaves them eighth in the twelve-team division.
Altrincham's line up displayed five changes with Harry Cain, Callum Dakin, Rafael Fereday, Josh Herreaman, William Molloy and William Sneyd remaining in the starting eleven but joined now by .
Savior Abanwa, Lewis Broderick, Theo Bunting, Callum McCormack and Connor Summerfield.
On the bench were just three players; John Gbolagun, Benjamin Mensah and Thomas Tattersall.
Meanwhile, Altrincham's National League U19 Alliance team drew 2-2 at home to Boston United last Wednesday.
The result leaves Altrincham eleventh in the division of twelve teams but they have a game or two in hand on seven other clubs in the league.

The always entertaining and informative Gloverscast has David Coates's report on how "Yeovil Town... ended their run of three straight defeats... with a goalless draw at fellow strugglers Morecambe on Saturday. Regardless of your perspective, the Glovers created enough chances to have come away from the gloomy Lancashire coast with three points...
The same eleven which failed to get a single shot on target against Southend United seven days earlier were starting again with strikers Tahvon Campbell, Harvey Greenslade and the forward-thinking Andrew Oluwabori left on the bench...
The first half was utterly forgettable... It was the answer to the question we raised on Friday’s podcast of what would happen when a team which can’t score meets a team that concedes a lot. The result? Not very much.
The second half was better – just....
Tahvon Campbell will make the headlines for his second-half penalty miss, but it is unfair to put the blame solely on this moment. Junior Morias, Luke McCormick and Josh Sims all had great opportunities to test Morecambe keeper Jamal Blackman with efforts and were off target with every one".

POST-MATCH VIEW
Radio Robins' Laurence Howarth conducted an audio interview with Neil Gibson after the defeat at Southend United. This is available via Alty TVThe interim manager stated that "The goals we conceded were really poor".
Overall, he conceded that "We didn't do enough to deserve anything from the game".
Neil vowed to use the defeat as a spur to producing an improved performance next week when scunthorpe visit Altrincham.
SOUTHEND UNITED 3-0 ALTRINCHAM
Altrincham fell behind in the 9th minute when a poor clearance allowed Coker to score from the edge of the box.
It got worse when another clearance fell, this time, to Ralph who scored through a crowded box making it 2-0 (19 mins). Altrincham got to the interval without conceding further but they had barely threatened the Southend goal themselves.
Early in the second half, Dan Sassi was harshly punished for alleged handball and a penalty was awarded (53 mins). But Hutchinson made a fine-save from Scott-Morriss's spot-kick; it was the keeper's second excellent penalty save this season.
Despite their poor performance, Alty looked to be salvaging some honour in defeat by keeping the score at 2-0 with just five minutes of normal time remaining before two ridiculous incidents saw them have a man sent off and then concede a poor goal.
First, the already booked Sassi clattered an opponent in a non-threatening position (86 mins). An inevitable second yellow card saw him sent off.
Moments later, substitute Barnes trod on the ball allowing Walker to score a simple third goal for Southend (88 mins). After seven added minutes a disappointing afternoon ended for the visitors.
After three wins and a draw in four league games, Neil Gibson's first encounter with a club from the top-half table was always likely to be a reality check. So whilst defeat was perhaps not unexpected, its manner was disappointing with defensive errors, attacking bluntness and a red card only alleviated by the memory of a fine penalty save from Luke Hitchinson.
Match report here.

After defeat at seventh-placed Southend United on Saturday, Altrincham entertain sixth-placed Scunthorpe United next Saturday. The Iron have lost just twice this season but recent results have seen them faltering, with a 3-0 defeat against Solihull Moors followed by a home draw on Saturday against lowly Braintree Town.

Phil Jordan reports that on Saturday in...
League One : OWEN DALE was withdrawn after 69 minutes by Plymouth Argyle, who had already scored the only goal of the game at Port Vale.
ALI SMITH (right) put AFC Wimbledon ahead after 70 minutes, but visitors Wigan Athletic fought back to win 1-2.
CARL PIERGIANNI picked up his 5th booking in Stevenage's goalless draw with visitors Doncaster Rovers, and will miss the visit to Peterborough United on Tuesday evening.
Wycombe Wanderers left JUNIOR QUITIRNA on the bench in their 3-2 home win against Lincoln City.
League Two : Although ELLIOT NEWBY put in a full shift for them, Barrow lost 0-2 at home to Cambridge United.
MARCUS DINANGA wasn't in Bromley's squad for the visit of Salford City, but that didn't stop them from winning 2-0. The Ammies, as mentioned on this site yesterday, had recalled KEVIN BERKOE from his loan at Rochdale, and he came off the bench after 65 minutes.
Bristol Rovers were still without the injured JOEL SENIOR for their visit to Cheltenham Town. The hosts, with JAKE BICKERSTAFF playing the full game, won by the only goal to pull away from the relegation places.
JAMES BERRY (left) scored for Chesterfield only 9 minutes in at Crewe Alexandra, and they were never behind as the game ended 3-3. James left the action after 64 minutes.
HARRISON HOLGATE played the full game for Fleetwood Town, and TOBY MULLARKEY joined him from the bench after 81 minutes. They were 3-0 up at that point, and, although visitors Shrewsbury Town managed to reduce the arrears, they couldn't make a further dent in the scoreline despite Fleetwood having a man sent off late on.
Tranmere Rovers were 2-0 up when CONNOR JENNINGS joined the action at Prenton Park, but between the 78th and 82nd minutes visitors MK Dons reduced the arrears, had a man sent off, and then equalised.
National League : KENNEDY DIGIE put in a full shift for Tamworth, but visitors Rochdale, who left LIAM HUMBLES on their bench, went 2-0 up, and hung on despite the Lambs pulling a goal back.
York City were briefly behind at Brackley Town after having led, but ALEX NEWBY set up their equaliser and they went on to win 2-3. Both Alex and the hosts' JUSTIN DONAWA, were withdrawn after 80 minutes.
A full shift from JOSH LUNDSTRAM (right) couldn't help Eastleigh to avoid going down 0-2 to visitors Hartlepool United.
It was an unhappy return to The Shay for former Halifax manager Chris Millington as his Solihull Moors side crashed 3-0. TYRESE SINCLAIR was withdrawn after 81 minutes.
JEFF KING was booked after only 13 minutes at Gateshead, and Boreham Wood withdrew him after 88 minutes as they shrugged off a 35th minute red card to strike 3 times without reply.
In the evening kick off Carlisle United, who started with REGAN LINNEY and CHRIS CONN-CLARKE were fortunate to emerge with a 2-1 win at Boston United, thanks to a 90th-minute goal from Macadam.
Earlier, they had taken the lead through Macadam with a Linney assist before Boston, without ZAK MILLS, immediately levelled. Linney completed the match but Conn-Clarke was subbed after 76 minutes.
National North : With leaders South Shields being held 1-1 at Telford, AFC Fylde could have overtaken them had they won their home game against Buxton. However CRAIG MAHON'S team instead fell to a 1-2 home defeat by Buxton who were without their captain CONNOR KIRBY. The only Old Boy in the Coasters' starting lineup was LIAM BROCKBANK, but he was withdrawn after 62 minutes, while GEORGE WILSON (left) only came off the bench in the 80th minute.
DYLAN MOTTLEY-HENRY opened the scoring for Chester, who beat visitors Leamington 2-0. TOM PEERS and JAMES JONES played the full game for the Seals, but Dylan was withdrawn after 77 minutes.
Chorley will be without KOLE HALL for the foreseeable future, as he has "a serious medical condition " which will require an operation.
Alfreton Town raced to a 12th minute 2 goal lead at Merthyr Town, but things went downhill rapidly after that and they lost 6-2. HARRY PERRITT was withdrawn after 62 minutes, and LEWIS SALMON 24 minutes later.
Radcliffe were already a goal down at Peterborough Sports when JORDAN HULME was sent off after 44 minutes. After the hosts had doubled their lead, Radcliffe had another man sent off in the 65th minute, going onto lose 3-0.
LUKE WATERFALL was on the wrong end of a single goal as Worksop Town lost by the only goal to visitors Curzon Ashton.
National South : As reported on this site yesterday, CALLUM DOLAN was suspended by Torquay United as an internal disciplinary measure. If the Gulls replicate their 7-0 home win over Tommy Widdrington's Eastbourne Borough this afternoon, he may find regaining his place a difficult proposition.
Having agreed the termination of his contract at Livingston, MILES WELCH-HAYES (right) promptly joined Maidenhead United, where he was on loan last season, at the start of September.
He has been handed the number 5 shirt, and although they were knocked out of the FA Cup, Miles immediately featured in 4 straight wins in the league - 3 of them with clean sheets. Things have not gone so well lately however. Maidenhead have only picked up a single point from their last 6 matches, and were knocked out of the FA Trophy last week at Leamington.
Scottish Premiership : Kilmarnock's MARCUS DACKERS only came off the bench in the 79th minute, by which time visitors Motherwell had already wrapped up their 1-3 victory.
Northern Ireland Premiership : SAM ROSCOE (right) played the full game for Linfield as one goal was enough to give them the win at Bangor.
Southern League Central : ZAK GOODSON scored Quorn's equaliser in a 1-1 draw at Real Bedford.
YUSIFU CEESAY played from the start for Spalding United as they beat visitors Needham Market 3-0.
NPL Premier Division : JOEL BAILEY played throughout for Bamber Bridge, but they lost 2-0 at Hebburn Town. His fellow Alty loanee OWEN GERMAN fared no better for Ashton United, who crashed 4-2 at Guiseley. The West Yorkshire team came from behind with 3 late goals in 8 minutes.
MONTEL GIBSON played 79 minutes for Hednesford Town, for whom one goal was enough to send Cleethorpes Town back to Lincolnshire empty handed.
Hyde United drew 2-2 with visitors FC United. MAX HARROP lasted 52 minutes for the Tigers, who were without JACK REDSHAW, while NYAL BELL (left) was an 85th minute substitute - the visitors had brought on RON SITHOLE 2 minutes earlier.
Gainsborough Trinity, having led at half time, had been pegged back at Prescot Cables by the time they brought JONNY MARGETTS off the bench after 65 minutes, and not long afterwards they fell behind. However, Jonny struck after 94 minutes to earn them a 2-2 draw.
ADAM PORTER was an 80th minute substitute for Leek Town as they hit 3 without reply at Whitby Town.
NPL Division 1 West : Atherton Collieries, without JOE PIGGOTT, won 1-0 at home against Sporting Khalsa. SAM SHERIDAN, having been booked, was substituted after 61 minutes.
BYRON HARRISON played the full game for Nantwich Town at Avro, where they lost 1-0. AIDY ROXBURGH (right) was a 64th minute substitute.
Trafford withdrew SEAN HIGGINS after 68 minutes at Bootle, where they lost to the only goal. TONY THOMPSON and TOM HANNIGAN played the full game for Bootle.
SEFTON GONZALEZ was a 69th minute substitute for Clitheroe who enjoyed a 4-1 home win over Stafford Rangers.
REMI RAYMOND played the full game for Congleton Town, who were without regular keeper DAVE PARTON, as they drew 2-2 at home with Chasetown.
KYLE BROWNHILL played throughout as Stalybridge Celtic beat visitors Runcorn Linnets 1-0. Linnets were again without RYAN BROOKE and LUKE WALL, but SEAN MILLER returned to action at the start of the second half.
Captained by MARK LEES, Mossley were again without MASON FAWNS at Vauxhall Motors. KEVIN ELLISON was a 56th minute substitute for Motors, who won 1-0.
One would surmise that visitors Bury were largely responsible for a gate of 945 at Witton Albion, but they would have been disappointed to see their team lose 3-0. Both JOEL BEMBO-LETA and BEN HARRISON (right) played the full game for Albion, who were without JAMES LAWRIE. Former Alty trialist DAMOLA SOTONA was a 74th minute substitute.
ASTLEY MULHOLLAND captained Wythenshawe Town as their relegation 6 pointer with visitors Darlaston Town ended goalless.
NWCL Premier Division : JOHN JOHNSTON scored Irlam's second in a 0-3 win at South Liverpool.
NW NEWS: ROLY HOWARD R.I.P.

"KOSY" HAPPY TO BE GETTING MORE GAME-TIME
As we reported last week, Matty Kosylo made his 150th appearance for the club against Brackley Town. To mark that achievement, Altrincham FC has now issued a brief pre-match interview with the club's senior player before the team travelled to Southend for today's clash. After making just a single start in the first sixteen league games this season, player-coach Matty was disappointed not to be more involved on the playing side. But he has now started the last three league fixtures under Neil Gibson and is also enjoying his new coaching role.
BEFORE THE GAME: SOUTHEND UNITED v ALTRINCHAM
Altrincham line up at Roots Hall today looking for a first win at the home of Southend United.
Right: Neil Gibson.
It will be interim manager Neil Gibson's fourth Enterprise National League game in charge of Altrincham and he has proved to be consistent in his team selection.
No fewer than eight players have started every one of those four games, a total that might well have risen to nine had goalkeeper Luke Hutchinson not been sidelined by the concussion protocols.
The eight "regulars" who have started all four games are...
- Lewis Baines
- Jake Cooper
- Tom Crawford
- James Gale
- Tylor Golden
- Elliot Osborne
- Kahrel Reddin
- Dan Sassi
Four of the above eight have played every minute of the last four league games; they are Baines, Cooper, Golden and Sassi. They are all defenders and their consistency has been a major part of the reason that just one goal has been conceded in 360 minutes of league football under Gibson.

Ever-presents in the league under Neil Gibson are, left to right, Lewis Baines, Tylor Golden and Dan Sassi. Blackpool loanee Dan has accumulated the most pitch time of any outfield player for Altrincham this season.
Gibson has not just been loyal to many of the established players but two players who had not been starters when the interim boss arrived, have now started the last three fixtures; they are Matty Kosylo and Charlie Kirk.
Conversely, regular starter Isaac Marriott, who had been the only player to start the first 16 league games, has been a substitute in the last three fixtures. Jimmy Knowles is another who had been a regular starter who has now become a used substitute, in his case for the last three games.
Neil has also been consistent in selecting his bench and making of substitutions with four of his benched players appearing in at least three of the four games in question.
As well as Marriott, the quartet includes Keaton Ward, Jimmy Knowles and, Olly Crankshaw who has appeared in all four games, the first time he has ever got on the pitch in four successive league games for the Robins.
Three defenders have been sidelined by injury since Neil Gibson arrived; Billy Sass-Davies, who has yet to step on the pitch this season, Sam Reed, who has missed the last four league matches, and Lewis Banks, who has now missed five ENL fixtures.
Loanee Jack Hinchy has also not played since the change of management.
Fellow loanee Billy Waters was supposedly returning after injury but that remains to be confirmed.
ALTY OLD BOYS
Torquay United have issued a statement which says "that an internal disciplinary process has been concluded following an incident last week.
As a result, Matt Worthington and CALLUM DOLAN (right) have been sanctioned by the club and will not be available for selection over the next four first-team fixtures.
As this is an internal disciplinary matter, the club will be making no further comment".
The BBC added that "Torquay manager Paul Wotton told BBC Radio Devon... 'It's been very difficult... People don't understand what goes on on a day-to-day basis, it's very easy to judge and to have an opinion, but you've got to go deeper than that sometimes - it's been tough'".
Rochdale "confirm that KEVIN BERKOE (left) has been recalled by parent club Salford City.
The wing-back joined Dale in September, making his debut as a substitute in our win at Truro City.
Berkoe made 12 appearances for the club in total, being involved in seven wins and five clean sheets".
And the Cumbria News and Star reports that "Mark Hughes insists he is unaware of the finer detail of Chris Conn-Clarke’s deal following the latest claims from the Peterborough United chairman.
Darragh MacAnthony said that Posh, who have loaned Conn-Clarke to Carlisle United until January, have a 'deal in place' that would see the League One club make 'a profit' on the 23-year-old.
MacAnthony, speaking on the latest edition of his Hard Truth podcast, did not specify whether that deal involved Carlisle, or any other conditions that may be attached to it.
United, when signing Conn-Clarke, said they had 'options' in the loan deal. The nature of those options has not been made public...
United head coach Hughes said... 'Details of the deal, I'm not privy to. From my point of view as the manager I just hope that he's still with us at the end of the season'.
Conn-Clarke has made six appearances so far for the Blues and has impressed with a string of creative displays."
ENTERPRISE NATIONAL LEAGUE NEWS
Boreham Wood "confirm that midfielder Aaron Henry has joined Hornchurch on loan until 28 January 2026.
After limited playing time at Meadow Park, Henry joins up with the Urchins as they sit top of the Enterprise National League South after a brilliant start to the campaign. Aaron joins up with a host of former Wood players, including Josh Hare, Josh Rees and Angelo Balanta, as well as Urchins boss Daryl McMahon".
Title aspirants Carlisle United "announce that Jack Ellis has signed a one-year contract extension with an option of a further year, initially extending his stay at Brunton Park until the summer of 2027.
A product of the United Academy, the 22-year-old has made 83 appearances since making his debut against Stevenage at the end of the 2021/22 season...
He has become a key part of Mark Hughes’s squad during the current campaign, showing impressive versatility to cover across the backline and in midfield...
Head Coach, Mark Hughes said, 'Jack is an outstanding professional with a genuinely good character, the type of person who lifts standards around the training ground. His determination to succeed is evident every day; he approaches every session with focus and real hunger to improve.
'One of his biggest assets is his versatility. He’s comfortable playing in multiple positions, which gives the team and myself valuable flexibility and allows us to adapt tactically without hesitation. He’s also a very popular member of the squad. The lads respect him, and he contributes positively to the group dynamic. He’s the sort of player every manager appreciates, dependable both on and off the pitch'...
Head of Football Operations, MARC TIERNEY added 'Jack is a product of our Academy system and shows every young player here what can be achieved at this football club'".

NEXT: SOUTHEND UNITED
Alty are away to Southend United on Saturday with the Shrimpers having halted a two-game winless run with a 1-0 victory in Somerset at Yeovil Town.
The BBC reported that "Slavi Spasov's stoppage-time strike earned Southend a deserved win at Yeovil.
Striker Spasov, on as a substitute, swept home the rebound in the second minute of time added on after an Andy Dallas shot had been saved by Glovers goalkeeper Jed Ward.
The Shrimpers enjoyed the best of the first-half chances, with a low shot from Dallas grazing the outside of a post after 14 minutes and Ward denying the same player and then Oli Coker before the break.
Josh Walker's header was smartly saved by Ward as Southend started the second half strongly, while at the other end Yeovil forward Aaron Jarvis rounded keeper Nick Hayes but his shot was kept out.
Southend grabbed the winner at the death to condemn Yeovil to a sixth National League game without a win".
The Southend line-up comprised 1. Nick Hayes, 3. Nathan Ralph (c), 6. Ben Goodliffe, 16. Harry Taylor, 33. Harry Boyes, 17. Cav Miley, 10. Sam Austin, 28. Oli Coker. 2. Gus Scott-Morriss, 11. Josh Walker, 9. Andrew Dallas. Subs: 30. Collin Andeng-Ndi, 22. Keenan Appiah-Forson, 7. Jack Bridge, 19. Leon Chambers-Parillon, 15. Joe Gubbins, 14. Tom Hopper, 18. Slavi Spasov.
SOUTHEND MANAGER'S PREVIEW
Southend United "head coach Kevin Maher spoke to the press ahead of Saturday's fixture against Altrincham at Roots Hall. Both teams come into the match in good form [sic], with the Shrimpers' 1-0 win of Yeovil strengthening our position within the play-offs while Alty are on a three-match winning streak.
Watch the video to view Maher's pre-match press conference in full".
Right: Dan Sassi is one of three Altrincham players walking a suspension tightrope.
As well expressing admiration for Altrincham, whose change of shape under Neil Gibson he has noted, Kevin Maher's interview also revealed that 15 of Southend's goals have come in the final quarter of games.
For Southend, a number of players are on four yellow cards and this match on Saturday is the last before the five-card trigger for a suspension is re-set. For Altrincham, Kosylo, Reed and Sassi have also picked up four cautions in the ENL this season.
ALTY OLD BOYS
News of former Alty players or loaneees comes from Phil Jordan...
Lancashire Trophy 2nd Round On Wednesday, Clitheroe proved much too strong for their hosts, West Didsbury & Chorlton, striking 5 times without reply. LEWIS BILLINGSLEY was in WD&C's lineup, while SEFTON GONZALEZ [right] played 64 minutes for the visitors.
Elsewhere, BBC Cumbria reports that "The Peterborough United chairman has confirmed on his Hard Truth podcast that a deal is ‘in place with a club’ for the permanent signing of forward Chris Conn-Clarke who is currently on loan with Carlisle United".
Posh chairman Darren MacAnthony also stated that "There is a deal in place where there is profit on Conn-Clarke already".
ENTERPRISE NATIONAL LEAGUE NEWS
Hartlepool United "confirm that the Club continues its recruitment process for a permanent First Team Manager.
The Board has been conducting a thorough and structured review of prior appointments alongside the immediate search for the new manager...
Some excellent candidates have applied but for a number of reasons the process remains ongoing at this time.
During this period, player-coach Nicky Featherstone, supported by Elliott Dickman, will continue to oversee First Team responsibilities. The interim coaching team have brought stability to the group and guided the side to five matches unbeaten, demonstrating clear progress in performances and results. They will continue to lead First Team preparations, including this weekend’s away fixture at Eastleigh.
Footnote: The parallels with Altrincham are interesting as the Robins' interim manager Neil Gibson has also brought stability and he has guided Altrincham to four league games unbeaten.
Solihull Moors "confirm that defender Finn Howell has joined Redditch United on an initial one-month loan...
First Team Manager Chris Millington said, 'Finn is a young defender; this loan spell is an excellent opportunity for him to gain regular football at a good level. We’ll be monitoring his progress closely and we hope this loan experience will accelerate his development.'”
"A handful of Sutton United players were in action around the globe during the final international break of the year.
Academy players Jay Coombes and Mikey Charvetto Parody featured for Gibraltar’s opening few Euro 2026 qualifiers, while on-loan forward Dillon De Silva received a Sri Lanka recall as the Golden Army looked to close the gap on group leaders Turkmenistan with an important penultimate Asia Cup qualifier against Thailand...
While Charvetto Parody appeared once – an 8-0 defeat to Croatia – Coombes captained the side and played every minute for Team 54, who began proceedings with a 4-0 defeat to Serbia...
This was followed by an 8-0 loss against Croatia...
This was followed by a 1-0 defeat against Georgia courtesy of a second half Halid Doltmourziev strike, in a match that ended in controversial fashion as a total of seven players were sent off in the final minutes, including Sutton’s Mikey Charvetto Parody, as well as Georgia manager Vasil Maisuradze.
With tensions high as they arrived into the final minutes, the red cards flew as they entered stoppage time with Georgia receiving a total of five red cards and Gibraltar three, two of them to Gibraltar goalkeepers, resulting in the referee signalling the end of the match immediately".

SHINING A LIGHT ON THE PITCH
Despite well over an inch of rain last Friday, the playing surface on Saturday when Brackley Town were the visitors was good.Alty are not at home again until 29 November, when Scunthorpe United are the visitors. In the interim, steps are being taken to protect the pitch from the ravages of cold weather and to encourage growth.

Above: A heat-lamp gantry was in place on the pitch at the J. Davidson Stadium this week.
ALTY OLD BOYS
Phil Jordan reports...World Cup Qualifier, JUSTIN DONAWA has been building up his Air Miles. Having flown home from Bermuda over the weekend to make a substitute appearance for Brackley at Altrincham, he chose Port of Spain over Morecambe last night and came off Bermuda's bench after 68 minutes of their tie with Trinidad & Tobago.
The scoring was already over by then as Bermuda drew 2-2 to end the campaign with a single point.
In the match Bermuda came from behind to lead for just one minute.
The group was won by Curacao, who restricted their hosts to a single shot on target in forcing a goalless draw in Jamaica.
Footnote:SkySports reports that "Steve McClaren has resigned as Jamaica head coach after failing to qualify directly for the World Cup.
Jamaica could have reached next summer's tournament had they beaten Curacao, but a goalless draw means their opponents finished top of the group and qualified for the tournament instead.
They are the smallest nation ever to make it to the World Cup". Jamaica must now go into play-offs to try to secure a place in the Finals.
Elsewhere, we learn that Bootle announce that "After an unbelievable career, with 398 senior appearances, 17 of those coming most recently for Bootle FC, DIOR ANGUS (above, right) has announced his retirement from football.
Dior joined Bootle in the summer from Southport following an established EFL career at Port Vale, Barrow, Wrexham and more".
Footnote: Dior is retiring at the age of 31.

WBA report that "Baggies youngster Cole Deeming has joined Truro City on a one-month loan deal.
The 18-year-old, who made his senior debut in the club’s Carabao Cup clash at Fleetwood Town in August 2024, has been a regular on Ryan Mason’s bench so far this term".
Truro City add that "For this campaign, Deeming has regularly made the first team squad for West Brom in their Championship campaign, chalking up seven unused substitute appearances".

ELLIOT LEADS THE WAY
Whilst Matty Kosylo, now aged 33, is Altrincham's oldest and longest-serving player, having arrived in summer 2020, his passing of the 150-game figure last Saturday still leaves him 38 games behind the team's leading appearance maker, who is midfielder, 29 year-old Elliot Osborne.
Matty lost a whole season in 2022/23 through injury, which helps to explain why Elliot has made more appearances than his longer-serving team-mate. In fact, Elliot has made more than twenty appearances in each of his six seasons at Altrincham since arriving in January 2022, following his release by Stevenage of EFL2.
Right: Elliot is featured as he left the pitch in last Saturday's game against Brackley Town.
- Season 21/22: 22(+1), 0 goals
- Season 22/23: 37(+11), 2 goals
- Season 23/24: 47(+1), 0 goals
- Season 24/25: 42(+7), 1 goal
- Season 25/26 to date: 14(+6), 1 goal.
- TOTAL: 162(+26), 4 goals.
Before Phil Parkinson signed him for Altrincham, Elliot had played under him at Nantwich Town, after starting out in the youth system at Port Vale and spending time with Newcastle Town as an 18 year-old in 2014.
In February 2015 he moved across the county border from Staffordshire to Cheshire to sign for Nantwich Town where he netted 22 times from midfield. In summer 2016 he signed for Fleetwood Town of League One but in September 2016 he went out on loan to Tranmere Rovers.
In January 2017 he went on another loan, to Stockport County and then Morecambe in League Two at the start of the 2017-18 campaign. However, in early 2018 he was transferred from Fleetwood to Southport for an undisclosed fee.
In late September 2018 he again went on loan to Stockport County and in November he signed for the Hatters, where he went on to record 79 appearances and 11 goals.
In summer 2020 he was signed by League Two Stevenage and played 30 games there in 2020–21 season.
He played every minute of all but two of his 23 league appearances for Altrincham in 2021-22 and was an ever-present starter in 2022-23 by October 2022 but, in the latter part of the season, he was often a used substitute. However, 2023-24 saw him playing well as a regular starter once again and in 2024-25 he was again a mainstay of the side in midfield.
However, he was unfit to start the 2025/26 season, only making his first appearance in the league in game number seven of the campaign. Since then he has played in every league game, starting 11 of the 13 matches in question and being used from the bench in the othertwo fixtures.
NEXT OPPONENTS: SOUTHEND UNITED
Altrincham face seventh-placed Southend United at Roots Hall on Saturday.
Whilst Alty may be encouraged that the Essex club is the lowest scorer of home goals in the top eight, with 13 goals, the Shrimpers boast the second-best defensive unit of those eight teams having let in just six goals in nine games.
Two of their players have started all 18 league fixtures played to date; they are defender Harry Taylor and midfielder/defender Harry Boyes. In fact, Taylor has not missed a single minute of the ENL campaign.
In fact no fewer than five of their squad have been on the pitch in all 18 league fixtures. In addition to Taylor and Boyes, Andrew Dallas, Sam Austin and Keenan Appiah-Forson have all either started and/or completed every ENL fixture.
Their leading scorers is Andrew Dallas with seven goals from 16 (+2) appearances. Slavi Spasov with four goals is the next most prolific scorer.

ALTY OLD BOYS
Phil Jordan reports on Tuesday's games...National League : As mentioned on Saturday, Morecambe's JOE NUTTALL left the action early at York City. Apparently there was a clash of heads, so hopefully he's not seriously injured, and will be rested under the three match concussion protocol.
Visitors Brackley Town gave JUSTIN DONAWA an unexpected run out in the second half at Altrincham, but tonight he wasn't in their squad. They only mustered 2 shots in the whole game, going down 2-0, and are beginning to look like relegation candidates, having won only 1 of their last 8 league matches.

FA Trophy : Alfreton Town earned an away tie at Alvechurch by winning 1-2 at Gainsborough Trinity, who were without JONNY MARGETTS. HARRY PERRITT (right)was in the winning lineup, and LEWIS SALMON joined him from the bench after 61 minutes, providing the assist for the winning goal.

ENTERPRISE NATIONAL LEAGUE NEWS
Since appointing Chris Millington, the form of Solihull Moors has improved, culminating in last Saturday's 3-0 win over Scunthorpe United who, previously, had lost just one league fixture this season. The Moors now stand third in the NL Paper's form guide.
And now the "Moors are delighted to confirm that goalkeeper Aaron Flahavan has re-signed for the Club.
Flahavan returns to Damson Park, having come up through the academy and being offered a 12-month First Team contract ahead of the 2024/25 season. During that campaign, he gained valuable senior exposure, regularly featuring in the matchday squad and continuing his development within the club’s goalkeeper group.
Manager Chris Millington said... 'He’s a talented young goalkeeper with great potential and someone who has already shown dedication and professionalism during his previous spell with us. This is the right environment for him to keep progressing and I’m looking forward to working with him'".
Bristol World reports that "a promising youngster is returning to the Bristol City squad after a productive loan spell..
Academy hotshot Luke Skinner will be returning to Ashton Gate ahead of schedule after a brief stint at Eastleigh.
The 17-year-old forward, who is due to turn 18 on the 18th November, joined Eastleigh at the start of October, signing a short-term loan deal that was expected to run until January 2026...
Eastleigh first team manager Scott Bartlett, said at the time... 'I have worked with Luke recently and he is a talent. For someone so young, he is fearless and will thrive in our environment.'
Luke Skinner made a combined total of six appearances for Eastleigh, scoring two goals... Prior to that, the youngster had gained experience in the National League South with Weston Super Mare....
However, the Robins have not yet disclosed the reasons behind calling time on the loan deal so early, particularly when he was just starting to find his form in Hampshire".
In a busy day at Eastleigh, the club also announced "the signing of midfielder James Waite from Weston-super-Mare on loan until January.
The 26-year-old Welsh midfielder began his career at Cardiff City... before gaining senior experience through loan spells at several clubs, including Hereford and Weston-super-Mare. He later spent time with Waterford and Penybont before returning to Weston".
And, heading the other way from Eastleigh we learn that "Barney Stone has joined Southern League Premier Division South side Weymouth on a short-term loan until January.
The 19-year old striker departs for The Terras to gain some valuable game time and experience".
Rochdale "confirm that forward Tyler Smith will be out of action for around six to eight weeks.
The 26-year-old started our visit to York City last midweek, after grabbing a brace in our victory at Boston United, but was forced off before half-time at the LNER Community Stadium...
It’s confirmed that Smith has suffered a muscle injury...
'We had a scan report on Tyler and it’s probably worse than we thought unfortunately', says the Dale Head Coach, Jimmy McNulty. 'It’s a real shame as he just got into the groove that we wanted to see from him. We think at this stage it will be something between six and eight weeks with a hamstring injury'...
He has made five appearances since his return for a second spell at the beginning of October... Tyler joins Anthony Gomez-Mancini on the treatment table.".
Sutton United "confirm the temporary departure of Jaiden White, who returns to Hereford on loan until January... with the Bulls looking to bolster their ranks as they aim to move away from the relegation zone, sitting outside the bottom four on goal difference after failing to win in any of their last six outings.
The 23-year old turned out 29 times for Hereford last season after joining in November 2024 from Redditch United... before making the move to Sutton in the summer... so far appearing ten times in all competitions including one league start... while he hasn’t featured at all since the start of September.
White had previously turned out for Kidderminster Harriers, Stafford Rangers, Stourbridge and Redditch as he worked his way up non-league, having originally developed in the youth setups at both Wolverhampton Wanderers and Coventry City."
Wealdstone "battled to a hard-fought 1–1 draw away at Hartlepool United on Saturday... Despite injuries, suspensions, international call ups and knocks throughout the squad, the Stones produced a resilient display, particularly in a second half where several players were forced off, to secure what manager Sam Cox called 'certainly a point gained.'
The game opened at breakneck speed, with Hartlepool taking the lead inside two minutes from former Wealdstone loanee Alex Reid... But Stones responded immediately through Nathan Tshikuna, who delivered a moment of brilliance to level the match...
With several players managing fitness issues and recent suspensions, squad rotation was vital... 'Sometimes making that many changes can unsettle a side,' Cox noted.... 'But they added grit and resolve to get us over the line'...
Striker Micah Obiero once again earned special praise... 'For me, he’s been one of the best strikers in the division', said Cox. 'He’s run himself into the ground for the team '" the manager judged.

They have actually finished in the top ten in each of the last three seasons. After their initial non-League season (2021/22) ended with them in 13th place, they have since finished 8th, 9th and 7th.
On Altrincham's previous visits to Roots Hall, the results have all been in the Essex club's favour...
- 2021-22: Southend 2-0 Altrincham
- 2022-23: Southend 2-2 Altrincham
- 2023-24: Southend 2-1 Altrincham
- 2024-25: Southend 2-1 Altrincham
ALTY'S TROPHY OPPONENTS
Altrincham have been drawn away to AFC Telford United in the FA Trophy. It will be their fourth successive cup tie on the road after a replay at Harborough Town, and exits fron the CSC at Winsford and from the FA Cup at Slough.
It is five seasons since the Robins met the Shropshire club, when both were in the National North division.
That season, curiously, the teams played their two league fixtures in a period of little more than 72 hours. The home match at Moss Lane had been postponed twice and was rearranged for a Tuesday night, 4 February 2020. Alty won that game 5-2.
The previous Saturday the meeting at Telford had ended in a 2-2 draw, a match played on a dreadful wet surface.

ALTY WOMEN "CRUISE" INTO QUARTER-FINALS
Altrincham FC Women "cruise into Cheshire FA Women's Cup last eight" according to Ben Edwards on the Altrincham FC website."in the final 20 minutes of their Cheshire FA Women’s Cup third round tie against Sandbach United Daryll Abrahams’s side scored seven goals during that period, completing an emphatic 9-1 victory".
Although it was an away tie it was played on Alty Women's home pitch at Partington, given the poor weather over the weekend.
Also the match "kicked off 25 minutes late due to travel issues for Sandbach. As a result, Sandbach were forced to play the first half with outfielder Grace Young in between the sticks, with regular goalkeeper Lucy Reid unable to make it until half time".
Nevertheless Alty fell behind and it was only 1-1 at the interval.
"It wasn’t just the Women’s first team who won convincingly, as the Elite U18s side picked up an equally impressive 8-1 victory. Francesca Boyle scored a hattrick and Amelie Heathcote a brace, with Maw Winchcombe, Cleo Harris and Hannah Worrell also on the scoresheet".
THROUGH THE YEARS : 22 November
As well as being the 62nd anniversary of the assassination of John F Kennedy in Dallas, next Saturday (22 November), Howard Watts and Mike Garnett's Through the Years data tell us it was also the fifth anniversary of Altrincham's last game on that date. It was a Behind Closed Doors 1-0 win away at Boreham Wood.
Right: Alty line-up at Wrexham before kick-off in 2014.
So the last match on 22 November witnessed by spectators was a memorable 3-2 away win at Wrexham in 2014.
With 16 minutes to go, ten-man Alty trailed 2-0 only to hit the nine-strong Welshmen with three late goals.
Having started quite well, Altrincham nevertheless fell behind in the 14th minute when a clearance allowed Elliott Durrell to get past Shaun Densmore to score. Things worsened when Scott Leather, well inside the Wrexham half, was sent off for a lunge at Carrington. When Louis Moult added a second for Wrexham, just before half time, it looked to be all over for the visitors.
However, moments later, Louis Moult got himself sent off to reduce Wrexham to ten men as well. Nine minutes into the second half, Wrexham lost a second player when the already booked Andy Bishop was dismissed for his second bookable offence. With Alty now having a man advantage, they tried to play a patient game but their moves initially lacked the necessary tempo to break down the Wrexham defence.
Adam Griffin was the key to Alty's success as he repeatedly got up the left wing to deliver telling crosses. From one, Reeves volleyed home in the 74th minute. Five minutes later Reeves scored again when a team-mate's shot seemed to deflect off him, And James Lawie secured the win when he scored following Luca Havern's nod-down of another Griffin cross.
Wrexham mounted some late pressure but Altrincham defended well to retain all three points. It was the first time they had won a game after conceding the first goal in a match that season.
ALTY OLD BOYS
Phil Jordan reports on Bromley v Norwich City, a game in the Premier League Cup, which is a somewhat misleading title for this U21 competition since only 6 of the 32 competing clubs are in the Premier League.
CALEB ANSEN [pictured, right] was in goal for the Norwich City team but was beaten after 17 minutes by MARCUS DINANGA (who's 28). Theodore Adelusi pulled the Canaries level but, alas, when he put the ball in the net again 4 minutes later, it was Caleb who had to retrieve it! Bromley hung on to win 2-1.
In the Cheshire Senior Cup, a much changed Warrington Town side were knocked out 2-0 at Stockport Town. DONTAI GABIDON played the first 71 minutes.

MATTY KOSYLO'S 150 LANDMARK
Saturday witnessed Matty Kosylo's 150th appearance for Altrincham since his arrival at Moss Lane was announced more than five years ago on 16 August, 2020. He signed a two-year contract after leaving AFC Fylde where he had spent the previous season.Prior to that he had enjoyed a three-year spell at FC Halifax Town.
Even earlier in his career, wingman Kosylo had played previously under Alty manager Phil Parkinson. That was back in 2014-16 at Nantwich Town, with Matty having begun his career at Stockport County before spells with Salford City, Ashton United, Hyde United and Vauxhall Motors (2013/14).
He left Nantwich for FC Halifax Town, for an undisclosed fee, in July 2016.
After his Altrincham debut at home to Weymouth on 3 October 2020, he was a lively performer till injury limited his appearances in the second half of the campaign. In 2021 he missed a number of games through injury but in 2021-22 he had a successful season, netting ten times.
In May 2022 it was announced that he had re-signed for a further season. However, a pre-season ACL injury meant that he was out of action for the entire 2022-23 season but he returned to the squad in 2023 pre-season. He suffered another injury after half a dozen appearances before returning to play in late November 2023.
Another injury sidelined him until he returned over the Christmas period of 2023 but he was offered a new deal in summer 2024. 2024/25 saw him primarily named on the bench and two sendings-off in the space of three league appearances over Christmas and New Year 2025 saw him banned for seven games in all. Matty signed a new contract, which included a coaching role, in summer 2025.
His game time in 2025/26 was limited with just two starts and seven appearances from the bench in all competitions by the end of October 2025 but under interim boss Neil Gibson he has started the last three league games, being booked on each occasion!
Matty's appearances for Altrincham comprise 106 starts and a further 44 appearances from the bench. He has scored 22 times.
Never far from a referee's caution, Matty has racked up the following cards...
- 2020/21: 12 yellows
- 21/22: 5 yellows
- 22/23: DID NOT PLAY
- 23/24: 7 yellows, 1 red
- 24/25: 8 yellows, 2 reds
- 25/26 to date: 5 yellows
- TOTAL 37 yellows, 3 red

ALTY OLD BOYS
A big surprise on Saturday was the appearance on the pitch for Brackley Town of former Altrincham right-sided defender/midfielder, JUSTIN DONAWA.The day before the fixture against Altrincham, Justin had been reported as being an unused substitute in Bermuda as the national team crashed 0-7 in a World Cup Qualifier against Curacao.
Justin was a used substitute for Brackley during the second half at the J. Davidson Stadium.
NEXT: SOUTHEND UNITED
Following their longest away trip of the season to Truro City, Altrincham's next away trip is their second longest, to a difficult away game at Southend United. The Shrimpers lie six places and nine points ahead of 13th-placed Altrincham. So this will be Neil Gibson's first match in charge of Altrincham in which he is pitted against a team in the top half of the National League.
Southend won 1-0 away at Yeovil last Saturday and was their first win in three league outings. Lately, goal scoring has been an issue with just three goals being scored in their last four league and cup games.

POST-MATCH VIEW: NEIL GIBSON
Press and media officer Brian Flynn spoke to Neil Gibson after the game against Brackley Town on Alty TV.Right: Even before kick-off Neil Gibson was in a happy place on Saturday.
He praised the groundsman and staff for an excellent surface despite the torrential rain yesterday.
Neil was also full of praise for the players for turning round the team's form since he took over as interim manager.
Ten points from twelve is something that the players can be really proud of
Whilst not wishing to single out players Neil was asked about Tom Crawford (TC) and said "TC and Ossie [Osborne] controlled the game for us at times TC's stature has grown in the last couple of weeks".
Jake Cooper has come into the side after injury, coinciding with Neil's tenure and despite being ill, as was Keaton Ward this week, he performed well.
With difficult games next against Southend United and Scunthorpe United, Neil nevertheless "looks at every game as an opportunity to pick up points".
ALTRINCHAM 2-1 BRACKLEY TOWN
Goals from James Gale and Tom Crawford meant that interim manager Neil Gibson continued his unbeaten run which now amounts to three wins and a draw in the four National League matches played under his charge. The only blemish was a consolation goal in the sixth added minute for a Brackley side which, despite winning numerous corners, otherwise lived up to its reputation as the division's most goal-shy attack.
Altrincham took an early lead when a Charlie Kirk corner from the left was nodded down at the back post by Sassi and Gale, despite being held, poked the ball into the net (8 mins).
The second home goal also came from a corner and was scored by Crawford, who cleanly headed home an Osborne corner from the right, early in the second half (49 mins).

James Gale pokes home Altrincham's first goal in the eighth minute, his side's earliest goal of the league season so far.
Alty looked set to record a third clean sheet in four league games until the final minute of added time when substitute Pollock got to the right bye-line and his low cross was turned in by the burly former Chorley man, Connor Hall to make it 2-1 (90+6 mins).
Apart from the goals, the major talking-point in the game came after thirty minutes when Brackley's Roberts writhed on the ground as his side won a corner. Brackley manager Gavin Cowan took exception to something and went head to head with Alty boss Neil Gibson.
Altrincham's long-term injured keeper and coach, Ethan Ross, got involved and pushed the Saints' manager before referee Rollason showed both Cowan and Ross a red card.
Match report here.
NEXT: SOUTHEND UNITED
Altrincham face a long away trip this coming weekend when they are the guests at Roots Hall as they face Southend United. Before this weekend's games, the Southend Echo reported that "boss Kevin Maher is still looking to add to his squad,
Shrimpers fans have spoken of the need for a new striker...
'I think we'll always look,' said Maher. 'There's no transfer window in the National League so you're always looking to improve your squad in whatever area the team needs...
'If you're not looking and you're standing still then I think you're going backwards in football.'
Ex-Shrimpers striker Harry Cardwell has been mentioned as a possible signing after falling out of favour at Forest Green Rovers...
'He was brilliant for us wasn't he,' said Maher. 'He left at a time we didn't want him to leave. It hasn't gone as well as he possibly wanted at Forest Green but he's their player so it's not for me to talk about'".

Working closely with our stewarding team, and in consultation with Greater Manchester Police, we are carrying out screening procedures to prevent potential weapons or prohibited items from entering the ground. These checks are now becoming common practice at football stadiums across the country and are part of our shared responsibility to protect each other.
The introduction of Martyn’s Law (Terrorism, Protection of Premises Act 2025) has also placed greater emphasis on the legal duty of venues like ours to assess risks and have robust safety plans in place. While much of this reflects what we already do, it reinforces the need for vigilance and preparation in today’s world.
We completely understand that supporters may sometimes feel these checks go too far. However, we want to be clear: safety will always come first. Our goal is to provide the best possible matchday experience in a safe and welcoming environment for all".

ENTERPRISE NATIONAL LEAGUE NEWS
National League CEO Phil Alexander has issued a statement about the 3UP campaign.
"Our 3UP campaign – urging the EFL to Put Football First and finally grant a long-overdue third promotion spot – has grown from a simple idea into a national campaign. Since we launched in February, the message has been clear: three up, three down isn’t just logical, it’s fair, and now is the time.
On Saturday, we’ll stage our 3UP Day of Action across the Enterprise National League. Each game will kick off at 3.03pm, three minutes late. You might find yourself wondering, 'Why are we waiting?' – and that’s exactly the question National League clubs have been asking for 23 years, ever since we were granted a second promotion place back in 2002.
The call for change is now backed by our 72 National League clubs and, this weekend, joined by the Trident Leagues too – meaning over 230 clubs across the country will be standing together to call for a fairer system. That solidarity speaks volumes about what this campaign represents: ambition, opportunity, and a shared belief that success should be earned on the pitch...

On Friday, Rochdale issued an "update on the Crown Oil Arena pitch ahead of Saturday’s Enterprise National League match against Aldershot Town. As confirmed on Wednesday, the Club hired a MacLeod inflatable dome cover this week, which has protected the playing surface from the rainfall since Tuesday evening.
The nature of these covers has also helped to dry the pitch out and allow groundstaff to work on the more problematic areas.
At this stage, there is no pitch inspection planned.
With high winds expected throughout Friday, the covers have been partially deflated and will remain so overnight, before being reinflated to remove any remaining water.
A crew from MacLeod will begin the process of removing the covers mid-morning on Saturday, which will then allow groundstaff to prepare the surface for the match".
Scunthorpe United "is delighted with the continued development of the partnership with their local Currys store...
The partnership between the Iron and their local store was originally struck in December 2024. Since then, the club has continued to work closely alongside Currys, who have been using the deal to help benefit their large number of community schemes and initiatives around local schools and charities, something Scunthorpe United are keen to continue.
Supplying the club with devices and appliances on a regular basis, Iron players Danny Whitehall, Joey Dawson and Harry Shipstone visited the store ... to thank Currys for their continued support.
Head of partnerships Glyn Sparks stated 'Working with Richard and the team at Currys over the last two years has been beneficial both for the club and the community... and we continue to support them with their commitment to not just local schools and charities, but the community as a whole.'"

ALTY OLD BOYS
Phil Jordan has cast his "Old Boys" net across the Atlantic to tell us that in a World Cup Qualification match, JUSTIN DONAWA might have been returning to his old Altrincham stamping ground tomorrow with Brackley Town, had he not been selected for Bermuda's squad in their last set of games.
Unfortunately, their qualifying campaign has gone very badly and, in front of only 1,181 spectators at the National Stadium in Hamilton (capacity 8,500), they crashed 0-7 to group leaders Curacao.
Justin could in no way be blamed since he never got off the bench. Their final match on Wednesday will see them travel to play Trinidad & Tobago, managed by former Manchester United favourite Dwight Yorke, who struck 3 times without reply when the sides met in Hamilton last month. Bermuda's campaign has seen them lose all 5 matches with a goal difference of 2:21.
As for Curacao, their last game is an all-or-nothing affair when they travel to Jamaica. A draw would see them win the group, but defeat would hand it to their hosts, who are managed by Steve McLaren.
NEXT: BRACKLEY TOWN
Justin Donawa, whose time at Brackley we addressed earlier this week, is not the only Brackley player who has played football previously in the North West of England.
Sharing a NW pedigree is Brackley's Connor Hall who, though born in Slough, was at Chorley from 2020-23. Prior to that he also had northern clubs Sheffield United, Bolton Wanderers and Accrington Stanley on his CV.
He is the Saints' joint leading scorer this season and has netted a quarter of Brackley's goals, though that is only three out of the total of twelve ENL goals. He has started only eight games this season and appeared on a further five occasions from the bench.
Hall played in a previous visit by Brackley Town to Altrincham in April 2019.
Brackley's only player to be an ever-present this season is forward Matt Lowe who has started all 17 league fixtures.
In their last seven league games, the Northants side has won just once, a 1-0 away win at Braintree Town in their most recent game on the road. Otherwise their run comprises five defeats and a single draw.
However, they have had better fortunes in the FA Cup. They trounced Woking 6-2 in a Fourth Qualifying round replay before knocking out EFL club Notts County on penalties in Round One.
They face Burton Albion at St James Park in Round Two.
ENTERPRISE NATIONAL LEAGUE NEWS
The team that has lost the fewest Enterprise National League matches this season is none of the current top-five clubs. It is sixth-placed Scunthorpe United who have been defeated just once this season.
In a top six covered by just three points, Scunthorpe have a game in hand on four of the teams above them.
Now, "Scunthorpe manager Andy Butler chats to Sky Sports...
Andy Butler has been in charge at Scunthorpe since May 2024... Since the beginning of last season, they have lost just nine of the 63 league games they have played...
Relegated out of the EFL after a 72-year stay in 2022 - and saved from a dark, uncertain future by chairwoman Michelle Harness just over two years ago... manager Andy Butler is steering the ship.
Right: Three years ago yesterday (13 September 2022), Scunthorpe United were the visitors to Altrincham for the designated Remembrance Day fixture before which two minutes' of silence were enacted. Tomorrow's match against Brackley Town is this year's Remembrance Day fixture.
Only two of Alty's sixteen-strong squad that night remain on Altrincham's books; they are starter Elliot Osborne and substitute Jake Cooper.
Butler joined the club as a youngster... progressed to the first team in 2002 and played over 150 games...
Butler returned to the club for a second spell in 2019/20...
Spell number three started in October 2022, when he was appointed youth development phase coach at the Attis Arena...
'The youth coaching job came by chance - and if it wasn't for that, I would still be delivering post around Edlington in Doncaster'...
Then-manager Jimmy Dean later asked Butler to design a set-piece routine and, in June 2023, offered him the job as first team coach... The following April, Butler was appointed manager....
'Last season, there was a period around November-December where I could have been shown the door. I've got to be thankful for the owners, for the patience...
'I was speaking to an EFL manager recently and a couple of teams in this division are blowing EFL clubs out of the water, wages-wise, so that's what you've got to compete with in this division... We've already surpassed what we got last time in this division, so we've done pretty well." he concluded.
Footnote: The Iron visit Altrincham later this month.
The National League states... "We call on the EFL to immediately add put '3UP' on the agenda so that member clubs can formally debate and vote on this crucial change.
By doing so, the EFL has the opportunity to lead with fairness and progress, ensuring a system that rewards merit, encourages competition, and strengthens the entire football pyramid.
This is not a radical ask. This is what fairness looks like. The EFL have at least three promotion spots up for grabs in all three of their divisions... and all we ask is for the same.
Don’t delay, don’t ignore it. Put 3UP on the agenda now.

Boreham Wood "announce that midfielder and fan favourite Zak Brunt has signed permanently from Barnet for a club record fee!
Brunty’s contract with the Wood will run until the end of the 2027/28 season with the option to extend by a further year.
The 23-year-old playmaker is no stranger to Meadow Park, having previously spent both the 2022/23 and current campaign since the end of August on loan with the Wood, impressing with his technical ability, creativity, and composure in midfield...
Brunt said... 'It’s been in the pipeline for a while. I feel loved here. The relationship I have with the Gaffer, the Chairman and everyone behind the scenes is huge. I really enjoy playing in this team, it’s a special group'...
A dynamic and gifted midfielder, our number eight has already racked up nine goals and assists since his return to WD6 this season".
At Carlisle United "striker Charlie Wyke... spoke candidly this week about the serious injury he suffered last season...
'It’s been horrendous,' Charlie said. 'I’ve broken my leg, dislocated my ankle, torn every ligament, damaged cartilage, had pins put in and gone through multiple operations. Mentally and physically it’s been the toughest year of my life. But I’m finally starting to see a bit of progress...
'Injured players work twice as hard as the lads on the pitch. It’s constant rehab, treatments, gym sessions and dealing with setbacks. It’s relentless'...
Medical specialists told him they would consider retiring if they were in his position..
In 2021, while playing for Wigan Athletic, he suffered a cardiac arrest in training and was saved by the swift actions of manager Leam Richardson and club doctor Jonathan Tobin. His heart had stopped for four minutes before he was revived. He later had an implantable defibrillator fitted".
Aldershot Town "announce the permanent signing of full-back Rhyeem Sheckleford.
Rhyeem joins the club having spent the last 3 seasons at Chesterfield FC... A product of the Fulham academy system, Brixton-based Rhyeem is primarily a right-sided full-back...
Rhyeem told ShotsTV... 'I met the Manager [John Coleman] for the first time a few years ago, he’s seen me play, seen me train. So when I knew he was interested, I wanted to come and play for him'".
Eastleigh "announce the signing of attacker Sam Pearson from Weston-super-Mare FC on a permanent deal for an undisclosed fee.
The 24-year-old Welsh winger began his career at Bristol City... During his time at Ashton Gate, Pearson gained senior experience through loan spells at Yeovil Town, Grimsby Town, and Inverness Caledonian Thistle before moving to Weston-super-Mare in 2023.
At Weston... his pace, directness, and ability to create opportunities in wide areas made him one of the standout performers in the side...
First-Team Manager Scott Bartlett commented... 'I know Sam really well, and he’s an exciting player with plenty of potential'".

Altrincham host Brackley Town this Saturday.
In their preview, The Saints say "The hosts are in strong form heading into Saturday, picking up 7pts in their last three games, while keeping a clean sheet in all of them.
It will be the first meeting between Brackley and Altrincham in over 6 years. Last time out, it ended in a 1-0 victory for the Saints, where a first half goal from Shane Byrne would decide the tie....
With 6 goals and 2 assists, Saints fans should look out for danger man Jimmy Knowles (right), the 24-year-old arrived in the summer from League Two side Accrington Stanley. Known for his electric form at Boston United, the striker would win the National League North playoffs at St James’ Park in 2024 following a 19 goal season for the Pilgrims".

From Phil Jordan we learn that on Wednesday in the NWCL Premier Division, LEWIS BILLINGSLEY rounded off the scoring from the penalty spot as West Didsbury & Chorlton comfortably disposed of City of Liverpool 6-1.

On the eve of visiting Altrincham, Boreham Wood "announce the signing of 19-year-old goalkeeper Ted Curd, who joins the Wood on loan from Premier League side Chelsea until the end of the season.
Curd has been part of Chelsea’s academy setup since the age of nine...
The England youth international impressed during a loan spell with Hashtag United... He went on to make 16 appearances and kept four clean sheets before being recalled by Chelsea in January 2024.
Curd spent the first half of the 2024–25 campaign on loan at Hampton & Richmond Borough, featuring in the National League South before returning to Stamford Bridge in January...
A confident and composed goalkeeper with sharp reflexes and impressive distribution, Curd looks to add further quality to Luke Garrard’s squad".
Rochdale "have hired an inflatable dome pitch cover. The MacLeod Covers were laid on the pitch on Tuesday afternoon and were inflated today (Wednesday). The dome pitch covers will be in situ until as late as possible on Saturday morning.
Whilst we don’t believe this is the long-term solution to remedy the underlying pitch problems we face, the dome cover gives us the best possible chance of ensuring Saturday’s game goes ahead..
The raised covers allow work to be carried out on the surface whilst protecting it from the elements, as well as diverting rainwater off the covers to the side of the pitch."
Interim manager "Nicky Featherstone is hopeful that Hartlepool United can return to winning ways against FC Halifax Town... following a 1-1 draw at home to Morecambe on Tuesday night. ..
'I was gutted initially. It felt like a defeat. I think a lot of us forgot that we still managed to get a result... I thought we did it (being on the front foot) brilliantly for 30-35 minutes. We got a goal from doing that and we got chances from doing that, but probably needed a second in that period...
'We are not winning enough games at home. Although only one defeat, there has been too many draws'...
Shifting attention to the trip to Halifax, Featherstone said 'They (Halifax) play out quite a bit from the back. They’ve got a lot of technical players, they’re a young side, they’re energetic, and they get the ball forward fast'".
Last time out, Pools were without Luke Charman and Vadaine Oliver, who have provided a combined nine goal contributions for the side in the Enterprise National League so far.
At Southend United "Earlier this month, Gus Scott-Morriss hit the reset button on his iconic mullet and moustache look by getting a clean shave in preparation for his Movember campaign
Scott-Morriss is looking to raise money and awareness for the cause and his efforts have been bolstered by teammates Harry Boyes, Joe Gubbins, Tom Hopper, and Cav Miley, who are joining him in growing moustaches in aid of men’s health.
'I did it last year and I didn’t think I could grow out a tache and then I managed to keep it the whole year,' a freshly shaved Scott-Morriss told The Shrimper. 'There are other reasons, like raising awareness of testicular cancer...
'I think there’s a big stigma around men at the moment where we need to speak up about certain things; whether that’s checking downstairs or speaking to a friend if you’re feeling down. I think it’s really good to spread awareness and I think football can be a great campaign for getting a lot of men together to speak about their problems.
'I’ve tried gathering up as many [teammates] as possible, trying to talk them into it. It’s all going to be a good laugh and hopefully we can grow some good taches and do better than we did last year!'">
Truro City "announce that defender Tom Harrison has signed a contract extension with the club.
The 24-year-old, who joined the Tinners from Oxford City in December 2023, was a mainstay of City’s National League South title winning team last term.
However, he missed the final two months of Truro’s history-making campaign, suffering a serious knee injury in a freak incident during a 1-1 home draw with Weymouth...
Harrison has spent time this season on loan at Chippenham Town, to regain match fitness...
Harrison told trurocity.co.uk... 'It has been a difficult road with plenty of ups and downs, so now to sign a new contract is exciting, at a great time for me personally and the club.”

Brackley Town visit Altrincham on Saturday. The Northamptonshire club includes a former Altrincham player in its ranks in the shape of JUSTIN DONAWA.It seems unlikely that the Bermudan international will be involved on Saturday as his country faces Curacao on 14 November in another World Cup qualifier. International duties have been a factor in his only starting five league matches for The Saints this season.
He has already appeared four times this season for his national side.
Justin was first named in a Brackley squad this season for matchday 5 in late August and he played the final 27 minutes against Tamworth.

Above: Justin Donawa is congratulated on his goal for Altrincham against Ebbsfleet United in Septmeber, 2023.
In early September he was named in the Bermuda squad for their World Cup qualifying games against Jamaica and Curacao. He was a used sub in both games, earning 48 minutes of pitch time.
He started the next four games for Brackley (matchday 9 to 12) in mid--to-late September. In these matches he completed 90 minutes twice and was subbed around the hour mark in the other two fixtures.
Underlining why Brackley are the lowest scorers in the ENL, with just 12 goals from 17 fixtures, three of those four matches ended either 1-0 (twice) or 0-1 (once) and the fourth was a goalless draw!
For ENL matchday 13 Justin played for nine minutes as a used substitute and then started game 14 in which he was subbed after 75 minutes.
So, this season, for Brackley he has played a total of just 413 minutes. and for Bermuda 206 minutes, an overall total of 619 minutes, or less than seven full-time games.
Justin's most recent league game for Brackley was on 4 October 2025.

Phil Jordan reports on Tuesday's fixtures...
EFL Trophy : The injured JOEL SENIOR (right) was missing from the Bristol Rovers squad, but they still beat visitors Plymouth Argyle, for whom OWEN DALE played the full game, 1-0.
Chesterfield had been 2-0 ahead, but JAMES BERRY was part of a triple substitution in the 77th minute immediately after visitors Liverpool U21 had reduced the arrears - and they struck again in the 92nd minute to force a penalty shootout. Although James converted his kick, it was in vain as the Premier League youngsters won the 24 kick marathon 10-11.
Wycombe Wanderers gave JUNIOR QUITIRNA a full game at Gillingham, and he claimed the assist for the opener as they won 0-3.
Another Old Boy to get a full game was Oldham Athletic's REAGAN OGLE, who had missed 3 games with injury. Only 11 minutes had gone when an injury gave CHARLIE OLSON the chance of a significant amount of action too. Alas, it all ended badly as visitors Bolton Wanderers, despite missing a penalty when the game was goalless, went on to win 2-6.
Fleetwood Town rested HARRISON HOLGATE at Port Vale, but TOBY MULLARKEY played the whole of a 3-3 draw, Fleetwood going on to win the shootout 2-4.
MARCUS DINANGA was a 63rd minute substitute for Bromley, but visitors AFC Wimbledon won 1-2, although ALI SMITH picked up a booking during his full stint.
Cardiff City gave JACK KINGDON a chance to impress, and he played throughout their 3-1 home win over Arsenal U21, who were reduced to 10 men just before the hour with the game still level at 1-1.
Tranmere Rovers beat visitors Blackpool 2-1. CONNOR JENNINGS was an unused substitute.
National League : KENNEDY DIGIE'S central defensive partner Jordan Cullinane-Liburd was sent off at Forest Green Rovers after only 5 minutes, but Tamworth led briefly in spite of that. Kennedy played the full game, but the Gloucestershire club took full advantage of still having 11 men, and won 4-2.
Three goals in a fifteen-minute spell turned half-time parity into a 4-1 lead for York City at home to a Rochdale side which had previousky conceded only eight goals in the league this season. The Minstermen held that lead till the final whistle.
ALEX NEWBY could take little credit having only joined the game from the bench after the scoring had been completed. However, Rochdale's KEVIN BERKOE was on the pitch for all of the game's goals before being substituted on the hour mark.
National North
Chester were without the suspended TOM PEERS and injured DYLAN MOTTLEY-HENRY at Southport, but JAMES JONES (right) started. They were a goal up when they were reduced to 10 men during added time at the end of the first half. Southport levelled, only for Chester to strike again in the 83rd minute, but they couldn't hold on and drew 2-2.
NPL Premier Division : Hednesford Town, with MONTEL GIBSON playing the full game, won 2-1 against visitors Hyde United. JACK REDSHAW was in action throughout the match, while MAX HARROP was replaced by NYAL BELL in the 79th minute.
OWEN GERMAN put in a full shift for Ashton United as they drew 2-2 at Leek Town.
FC United could have moved up to second place behind Warrington Rylands had they won tonight, but the latter's neighbours, Warrington Town, did them a favour, continuing their climb away from the relegation zone with a 3-0 home win. FC were again without RON SITHOLE, while their former player DONTAI GABIDON came off the Warrington bench after 89 minutes.
NPL Division 1 West : BYRON HARRISON lasted 63 minutes for Nantwich Town, while AIDY ROXBURGH played throughout as Nantwich Town lost 1-4 at home to Bury.
THROUGH THE YEARS: 15 NOVEMBER
Howard Watts and Mike Garnett's Through the Years data reveal that the last time before this coming Saturday that Altrincham played on 15 November, was back in 2014 when the Robins drew 1-1 at home to Grimsby Town.
Right: Kyle Perry and Aristote Nsiala compete for an aerial ball in the 2014 clash with Grimsby Town.
In that match, Altrincham secured a well-deserved point with a 90th minute goal from centre-back Scott Leather.
It was midway through the second half when the Mariners took the lead. A Richman mis-pass went to the impressive Nathan Arnold [later to join Altrincham] and, from at least 25 yards, he smashed an unstoppable shot past Coburn.
But Altrincham showed commendable spirit as they took the game to the visitors, who seemed strangely content with their narrow lead. They paid the price when, after a period of sustained pressure, Altrincham equalised.
The goal arrived from Sean Williams's cross from the left, which Leather tucked away from the centre of the goalmouth.
ALTRINCHAM: 1. Stuart Coburn, 2. Shaun Densmore (c), 5. Gianluca Havern, 6. Scott Leather, 3. Adam Griffin, 4. Jake Moult, 25. Peter Cavanagh, 8. Simon Richman, 7. James Lawrie, 9. Steven Gillespie, 14. Kyle Perry. Subs: 10. Damian Reeves, 17 Dave Parton, 16. Tom Marshall, 19. Ryan Crowther, 18. Sean Williams
Coincidentally, the Grimsby side in 2014 included Lenell John-Lewis who faced Altrincham last week whilst playing as a substitute for Boston United.

The Guardian reports that "nine former Premier League players [are] on the books of Wythenshawe FC’s over-35s side: Stephen Ireland, Emile Heskey, Maynor Figueroa, Joleon Lescott, Papiss Cissé, Oumar Niasse, Nedum Onuoha, George Boyd and Danny Drinkwater.
Adding new recruit Jefferson Montero to the list means Wythenshawe’s veterans squad includes 1,867 Premier League appearances, plus 389 international caps and 15 major honours...
It all started with the former Manchester City man Ireland, who is close friends with the Wythenshawe player Blake Norton [pictured, left, in his Altrincham days] and was eager for a Sunday afternoon kickabout...
The chair, Carl Barratt... has been connected to Wythenshawe for 24 years and oversees their 80 teams across all age levels – involving nearly 1,000 children. He was Cole Palmer’s first coach when the current Chelsea forward was a youngster at the club".
Footnote: Left-winger Blake Norton [born 1983] was educated at North Cestrian school in Altrincham but he arrived at Moss Lane by a circuitous route. He signed for Altrincham on 2 March 2006 from Worksop Town, following the elimination of The Tigers from the FA Trophy, having originally joined Worksop on 20 August 2004 from Rossendale United.
He had previously played for Chester City and Stockport County before joining Marine in January 2003 but very soon afterwards he signed for Trafford. Blake then moved on to Stalybridge Celtic for six weeks before rejoining Trafford and then Rossendale United. He briefly joined Northwich Vics from Worksop for an undisclosed sum in June 2005 before returning to The Tigers when the Vics were demoted for off the field problems.
Blake made his Alty debut at home to Canvey Island on 11 March 2006 but was released on 21 July 2006 and re-joined Worksop Town. Appearances on departure: 3+3, 0 goals.

The Halifax Courier reports on Jevon Mills, stating that "Most of Adam Lakeland's initial additions were already through the door when the centre-back's signature - the club's 10th new arrival since Lakeland's appointment - was announced on the opening day of the season.
Since a dislocated shoulder in the 1-0 win at Boston on August 19 kept him out for nearly a month, 22-year-old Mills has been a committed, composed and consistent presence at the back in what will be his first full season in senior English football at the same club...
'I went to Hartlepool but they didn't offer me anything, I had an offer from a club in Northern Ireland but I wanted to stay in England and play close to home.
'So Halifax was a massive bonus location-wise'.
Mills is one of 14 signings made by Halifax since Lakeland's appointment...
'Right now, we all know each other, we're more of a team, we're more gelled...
'We obviously got our run together of six wins in a row and we've had a little blip now, but that's bound to happen' Mills said."
From Boreham Wood comes news that "goalkeeper Nathan Ashmore has embarked on a second loan spell with Enterprise National League North outfit Bedford Town, rejoining the Eagles until the end of the season with a 24-hour recall.
Having made the move to Hertfordshire in 2019, initially on loan before making it a permanent switch a year later, the 35-year-old ‘keeper has asserted himself as a fan favourite in WD6 after making over 150 appearances and playing a pivotal role in last season’s promotion back to the summit of the Non-League pyramid...
Nathan joins up with the Bedford Town squad... with a new Wood shot stopper to be announced in due course".
At Yeovil Town the club "announce the signing of Leo Ramirez-Espain on loan from Watford until the end of January.
The talented 19-year-old midfielder made his professional debut for the Hornets in August 2024, coming off the bench in a Carabao Cup tie against Milton Keynes Dons. He featured again in Watford’s next outing against Plymouth Argyle...
Ramirez-Espain was also part of the Watford youth team that enjoyed a fantastic FA Youth Cup run last season, reaching the semi-finals before narrowly being knocked out by Manchester City.
Known for his vision, creativity, and intelligent link-up play, Ramirez-Espain now joins the Glovers to continue his development".

ALTY'S NEW FITNESS PARTNER
Altrincham FC report that gym company "Total Fitness [have] placed their market-leading, state-of-the-art facilities at the Altrincham squad's disposal... [and] have joined forces with the Robins as our new Official Fitness Partner.
Founded in 1993, Total Fitness now operate 15 health clubs across the north of England and Wales, with 600 employees supporting more than 100,000 members. NEXT: BRACKLEY TOWN

Altrincham are back at the J. Davidson Stadium (above) on Saturday, for their tenth home league fixture of the season, but just their fourth Saturday 3pm home kick-off of the campaign.
Interim manager Neil Gibson will be hoping to extend his unbeaten record in the three previous ENL fixtures played on his watch. Alty have also achieved three successive clean-sheets in those games.
Their opponents, for an Enterprise National League game, will be Brackley Town, who are making their first visit since a Tuesday night, 16 April 2019, when the sides were competing in National North.

Above: Tom Hannigan rises to deal with a Brackley cross in the April 2019 clash.
On that occasion, what started as a promising evening for Altrincham when Max Harrop's 38th minute deflected freekick gave Altrincham a 1-0 interval lead, ended in huge disappointment when Tony Thompson's air-kick allowed Tom Hannigan's back-pass to roll into the net in the 94th minute.
Brackley had deservedly equalized in the 70th minute of a second half in which Altrincham created few openings. Ndlovu netted the equalizer from close range after Ceesay had allowed a Brackley player to get behind him and cross from the right.
The defeat left Altrincham fifth when a win would have lifted them into third. And, to add to their woes, they lost two defenders to injury during the game; James Jones had to be replaced after 21 minutes and Connor Hampson succumbed in the 85th minute.
ALTRINCHAM: 1. Tony Thompson, 2. Shaun Densmore, 3. Connor Hampson, 4. James Jones, 5. Tom Hannigan, 6. Jake Moult (c), 7. John Johnston, 8. Sean Williams, 9. Jordan Hulme, 10. Josh Hancock, 11. Yusifu Ceesay. Subs: 12. James Poole, 14. Josh Hancock, 15. Matt Chadwick, 16. Simon Richman, 17. Ben Harrison.
The historical record between the clubs at Moss Lane is P5-W2-D0-L3-F6-A10.
The Saints should been the final visitors of the 2019-20 season but Covid meant that that fixture was never played.
THORUGH THE YEARS : 15 November
It is 67 years since Altrincham lost a game on this Saturday's date, 15 November. They have played nine times on a 15 November date since 1958, winning four times and drawing on five occasions.Howard Watts and Mike Garnett's Through the Years data show the full record on this date.

ALTY OLD BOYS
Phil Jordan reports that on Monday night in League Two, SONNY ALJOFREE has fallen out of favour at Notts County, and watched their match at Cheltenham Town from the bench.
County dominated the first half, and were 2 goals up at half time without really having had to extend themselves.
Town manager Steve Cotterill tweaked his formation at the break, his side not having had a solitary shot on target, and JAKE BICKERSTAFF (right) finally managed to get involved after a totally anonymous first half performance.
However, Town couldn't salvage a result, going down 1-2. The result leaves them just one point above the relegation trapdoor, and worryingly they have by some way the worst goal difference in the division.
ENTERPRISE NATIONAL LEAGUE NEWS
Altrincham were obliged to devise a third-shirt design for last weekend when their two existing strips were deemed to be too close matches to Truro City's red and black attire.
Described as a "2026/27 centenary third kit", it was deployed for the Remembrance Day fixture against Forest Green Rovers. It is 100 years since forerunner club Aldershot FC was founded
When the shirt was launched, Aldershot Town explained that "this special edition Aldershot Town Football Club shirt stands as a powerful tribute to the town’s proud military heritage and the club’s deep-rooted bond with the British Army.
Designed with a refined sense of respect and symbolism, the shirt seamlessly blends performance and pride in a garment that speaks to over a century of shared history between club, community, and country.
The deep olive-green body and subtle camouflage patterning across the sleeves evoke the tones of military uniform — a visual nod to the soldiers who have lived, trained, and served from the Home of the British Army in Aldershot..
On the left chest, the club’s historic crest takes pride of place. The red and blue shield dates back to the original Aldershot Football Club, whose identity helped forge the town’s sporting character for much of the 20th century. This is more than a shirt — it’s a salute. A salute to Aldershot’s history, its heroes, and the spirit that continues to march proudly from the barracks to the EBB Stadium every matchday".
Unlike the Alty shirt which was to be worn for the single fixture in Cornwall, The Shots' shirt is for sale to supporters and has produced "pre-sale orders [which] have shot through the roof!".
"After Carlisle United's 2-1 victory against Southend United at Roots Hall", Carlisle United TV "We spoke to attacker Chris Conn-Clarke", he said...
'We got off to a great start, leading 2-0, but Southend kept their heads, and they came back and scored a goal and had us on the back foot for a bit, but we’d done well to manage that, and we got three points.”
'I was buzzing with the goal. I scored two on my debut, but I wanted to get off to a start in the league... and then the second one, I’ve passed it to Regan, and he’s done all the work and put us 2-0 up.
'I heard him screaming. I could hear him, but no, I always know where he is. He makes great runs, and he’s a great player.... and then I’m in front of the goal and I’ve just composed myself... The surface was slippy, so I’ve just passed it in and lucky enough, it just went in....
'Everywhere with Carlisle is a mission away, but no, it’s all right. The club treat us well. We’re always in good hotels and we get the train down and no, we’re all right'">
Wealdstone "boss Sam Cox hailed his side’s resilience and unity after the Stones ground out a hard fought 1-0 victory over Braintree Town at The Vale...
Substitute Dan Nkrumah marked his return from injury with the decisive late goal, a moment Cox described as 'a fantastic moment for Dan. “He’s worked so hard in his rehab and to come on and make that kind of impact shows his character'...
The Stones had to be patient against a disciplined Braintree side who set out to frustrate...
He reflected 'We knew Braintree would be desperate to respond to their form and make life difficult. They sat off us and tried to frustrate, but we stayed patient. At half time we made a few tactical tweaks, going a bit more direct'...
Goalkeeper Dante Baptiste was again a standout performer, pulling off two superb saves late on to preserve the clean sheet, the Stones’ third in succession.
'When our backs are against the wall, Dante’s that beast between the sticks who bails us out,' Cox smiled...
Max Kretzschmar limped off with a suspected hamstring injury... Said Cox 'Max was excellent at Yeovil and again today. He’s a leader, which is why he’s our vice-captain'...
'Teams can’t come to our backyard and think they can bully us - we’re not having that. We’ve got grit, nous and we’ll stand up for ourselves... Three clean sheets in a row says everything about the togetherness and spirit in this group'" concluded Cox.
Yeovil Town "welcome Jamie Hedges as the club’s new Head of Recruitment.
Jamie... will play a key role in shaping the recruitment strategy. Hedges brings a wealth of experience in recruitment and talent identification, having most recently served as Head of Recruitment at Aldershot Town, with previous roles at King’s Lynn Town and Bristol Rovers...
On his appointment, Hedges said... 'The discussions with Prabhu, Nicholas, and Stuart were exactly what I wanted to hear, and it’s a project I am fully bought into. I believe I can make a real positive impact and help get this club back where it belongs.'
In his new role at Yeovil Town, Hedges will report directly to the Board and work closely alongside the first‑team manager and coaching staff to identify and secure players who fit the club’s style, ethos, and budget".

Scunthorpe United "confirm goalkeeper Rory Watson has been recalled by parent club York City.
Having returned to the club in the summer on a season-long loan from the Minstermen, Watson began the campaign as understudy to Maison Campbell, but was given his chance between the sticks away at Eastleigh as a late replacement in the warm-up due to injury.
Since that encounter, he's made the jersey his own, aiding the club to second place in the Enterprise National League with 10 league appearances in his third spell at the club...
In addition to the 10 league appearances, Watson also aided the Iron into the first round of the Emirates FA Cup... United's Ernie Storey Memorial Player of the Season award in the 2021–22 campaign, Watson had two previous spells at the club, firstly a loan before that was made permanent in 2017, making in excess of 100 appearances throughout that time".
Aldershot Town "is delighted to announce the loan signing of Bolton Wanderers Centre Back, Sam Inwood.
Sam, 20, signed his first professional contract with Bolton in 2023, before making appearances for the first-team in the EFL Trophy and subsequently in League One.
Sam told Shots TV... 'Obviously I’ve been with Bolton for a while and been in and around the first team, but I’m really excited to get out there and play some regular men's football.'
Manager John Coleman was delighted to get Sam through the door 'The calibre of football that we know he is capable of, having played in League One, can really benefit us. When we spoke, he didn’t hesitate at the opportunity to come and play for us, showing how keen he is'...
Sam joins us on a season-long loan"

NEXT: BRACKLEY TOWN
Altrincham host Brackley Town on Saturday in an Enterprise National League game. Although the clubs have previously met in the National North, this will be their first encounter at national level following The Saints' promotion last summer. Both clubs currently have 20 points, with Alty one better-off on goal difference but the Northamptonshire side has a game in hand.
Last Saturday, playing at home, Brackley Town admuitted that "Boreham Wood deservedly ran out winners at St James Park to briefly take top spot in the table ahead of Carlisle’s trip to Southend.
‘Wood dominated first half possession while creating few clear cut chances as Brackley defended resolutely before conceding in the dying moments of the half...
A second goal on the hour from Abdul Abdulmarik put the visitors firmly in the driver’s seat before Saints came more into the game but without reducing the deficit. Boreham Wood’s third goal sealed the win with Brackley’s late goal a consolation only...
'They [Boreham Wood] were excellent,' Brackley manager Gavin Cowan said. 'They are very fluent and don’t have a shape, which is tough to deal with. We will live with a bit of regret because we did not put our best foot forward. There was perhaps a bit of fatigue but we can’t make excuses'".
Brackley Town (3-5-2): Maxted; Lyttle, Dean, Lilly; Nottingham (Waldron 46), Price (Brown 67), Byrne, Calder (Haynes 86), Pollock (Hall 75); Lowe, Roberts (Stewart 67). Subs not used: Gregory, Morrison.

The BBC reports that "Truro City manager John Askey says he is frustrated by his side's lack of attacking cutting edge.
The Tinners were beaten 1-0 at home by Altrincham... The loss saw Truro slip to the bottom of the National League table...
'It's frustrating when you're watching and there is opportunity to put the ball in the box and they turn it down,' Askey told BBC Radio Cornwall.
'The idea is to score goals and you aren't going to score goals by going backwards and sideways all the time...
'We've played well up until last couple of games really and today wasn't good enough and we've got to get back to what we were doing earlier'".

The win lifted Altrincham up four places to fifteenth in the National League.
The rise was helped by four higher-placed teams at kick-off, namely Brackley Town, Boston United, Yeovil Town and Gateshead, all losing, whilst lower-placed clubs (Truro City, Aldershot Town, and Braintree Town) also were all defeated, amd Morecambe and Sutton drew in their meeting.

POST-MATCH: NEIL GIBSON
Altrincham's interim manager Neil Gibson was interviewed by press and media officer Brian Flynn after the 1-0 win over Truro City in Cornwall. The audio interview is here
POST-MATCH: JOHN ASKEY
Truro City have posted a video interview with their manager John Askey, formerly boss at Macclesfield Town of course.A downbeat Askey declared that Truro had given "a disappointing performance" and "didn't deserve to get anything from the game... We were very lacklustre".
The Truro manager thought that in a game where there was "not a lot happening", it would end 0-0, before Ward's 81st minute goal arrived to change that "out of the blue"
He criticised his team stating that they "are not going to score goals by going backwards and sideways all the time".
He felt the long journey to and from Solihull on Wednesday had been a factor in the poor performance though it was "not an excuse".
ALTY OLD BOYS
The following ezxtensive review of "old boy" activity comes from Phil Jordan...
League One : JUNIOR QUITIRNA (right) was an 81st minute substitute for Wycombe Wanderers, all the scoring already being over in their 4-1 home win against Leyton Orient.
OWEN DALE was booked after only 6 minutes at Huddersfield Town, and Plymouth Argyle withdrew him after 61 minutes at 1-0. The Terriers went on to win 3-0.
It was a miserable afternoon for ALI SMITH and his AFC Wimbledon colleagues. Despite having 12 shots - 4 of them on target - they were crushed 5-0 by Peterborough United. The win lifts Posh off the foot of the table, and above Port Vale and Plymouth Argyle.
League Two : MARCUS DINANGA was missing from Bromley's squad at Colchester United, where they won 0-2, as JOE HUGILL continues to be sidelined at Barnet - one assumes an injury. The Bees were held 2-2 by visitors MK Dons.
Grimsby Town were 2 goals up at Barrow inside 13 minutes, but by the time they brought on JUSTIN AMALUZOR after 83 minutes they'd been pegged to 2-2, and that was how it finished. ELLIOT NEWBY played the full game for the hosts, but picked up a yellow card in the 94th minute.
Chesterfield started badly at home to Accrington Stanley, and were 2 goals midway through the first half. However, having been booked, JAMES BERRY (left) set up a goal to reduce the arrears at half time, and when he scored after 62 minutes it completed a turnaround for the Spireites. James was substituted after 70 minutes, and 5 minutes later Stanley equalised, and held on for a 3-3 draw.
Fleetwood Town were reduced to 10 men after only 10 minutes at Crawley Town, where they lost 2-1. HARRISON HOLGATE played the full game for Fleetwood, while TOBY MULLARKEY came on for the second half.
It was still goalless at Swindon Town when Tranmere Rovers withdrew CONNOR JENNINGS in the 61st minute. He'd been booked 4 minutes earlier. The Railwaymen eventually ran out 2-0 winners.
National League : MATT PENNEY was an unused substitute as Aldershot lost 2-3 at home to Forest Green Rovers.
CONNOR TEALE and ZAK MILLS laboured in vain for Boston as visitors Rochdale, who brought on KEVIN BERKOE after 64 minutes, won 1-3. LIAM HUMBLES wasn't in the Rochdale squad.
JEFF KING lasted 73 minutes for Boreham Wood at Brackley Town, where they won 1-3.
York City, still without ALEX NEWBY, won 2-4 at Eastleigh - who had JOSH LUNDSTRAM booked before he set up the goal that put the Spitfires ahead at the break. Alas, the Minstermen scored 3 in 12 minutes later. Meanwhile the man they loaned out to Solihull Moors, TYRESE SINCLAIR, came on at Gateshead in the 54th minute with the game goalless - Moors went on to win 0-2.
In a relegation 6 pointer at Morecambe, JOE NUTTALL played the whole game for the hosts, who, having been 2-0 up, had to settle for a 2-2 draw with Sutton United.
Having been booked after only 3 minutes at Scunthorpe United, KYLE FERGUSON watched the second half from the bench alongside MATT GOULD (left) as Yeovil Town lost by the only goal.
A full shift from KENNEDY DIGIE wasn't enough to stop Woking taking the points with the only goal of the game at Tamworth.
Having scored the Carlisle United opener after 19 minutes at Southend United, CHRIS CONN-CLARKE set RYAN LINNEY up for their second 10 minutes later. It only took the Essex club 2 minutes to reduce the arrears, but that was as good as it got for them. The Cumbrians withdrew both goalscorers in the 94th minute as they won 1-2.
National North : Robins loanee LUCAS WEAVER gave Chorley the lead at Radcliffe, then, after JORDAN HULME had turned the game in the hosts' favour, he struck again in the last minute to earn the Magpies a 2-2 draw.
National South : CALLUM DOLAN gave Torquay United the lead at Maidenhead United, where they won 1-2.
Southern Central : After Spalding United had trailed to visitors St.Ives Town at the break, they got themselves 2-1 up, with YUSIFU CEESAY scoring the second - but the Cambridgeshire team fought back to win 2-3.
NPL Premier Division : The top two clubs met at Broadhurst Park, but FC United, without RON SITHOLE, were unable to see off Warrington Rylands, captained by 37 year old DEAN FURMAN (right) until he was withdrawn after 51 minutes, and who won by the only goal. The Manchester club are 5 points behind Rylands, but they have 3 games in hand.
Unfortunately JONNY MARGETTS limped off after only 2 minutes for Gainsborough Trinity, who were held 1-1 at home by Rushall Olympic.
Immediately after he scored their 75th minute clincher against visitors Stocksbridge Park Steels, Hednesford Town withdrew MONTEL GIBSON, and hung on to win 2-0.
Alty loanee OWEN GERMAN played the whole of Ashton United's 0-2 victory at Ilkeston Town. Fellow loanee JOEL BAILEY also put in a full shift, but less happily as Bamber Bridge went down 2-1 at bottom club Morpeth Town.
The clock had ticked on to 88 minutes by the time Warrington Town brought on DONTAI GABIDON, having already done enough to rip up the form book, seeing off playoff aspirants Stockton Town 2-0.
Hyde United had discipline problems at Workington, having two men sent off, and another 4, including skipper JACK REDSHAW and NYAL BELL, booked. To make matters worse they lost 3-2.
NPL Division 1 West : Bootle were held 1-1 by visitors Bury. TONY THOMPSON was in the Bootle goal, and he and TOM HANNIGAN both put in full shifts, although Tom was one of 5 Bootle players booked. DIOR ANGUS wasn't called off the bench.
DAVE PARTON was beaten twice as Congleton Town went down 2-0 at Clitheroe. Loanee REMI RAYMOND played the first 70 minutes for the Bears.
JOE PIGGOTT (left) captained Atherton Collieries, who were without SAM SHERIDAN, as they went down 2-1 at Kidsgrove Athletic.
Lower Breck have still only lost one league game, so wouldn't have panicked when visitors Stalybridge Celtic went ahead - and sure enough the Merseysiders turned it round to win 2-1. KYLE BROWNHILL played the whole game for Celtic.
Another to put in a full stint was Mossley captain MARK LEES at Newcastle Town. MASON FAWNS only joined the action on the hour, and 6 minutes later he got the only goal of the game. He also picked up a yellow card.
Having been behind at 2nd placed Shifnal Town, Witton Albion were ahead by the 20th minute. Alas, by the 37th minute they were 3-2 down and there were no further goals. JOEL BEMBO-LETA and JAMES LAWRIE both played the full match, but BEN HARRISON stayed on the bench.
SEAN HIGGINS played the full game as Trafford picked up only their second win of the season at Stafford Rangers. Having been 2 goals up after 10 minutes, they put up a gutsy performance to win 3-4.
It was the 68th minute before KEVIN ELLISON came off the Vauxhall Motors bench, and they comfortably saw off visitors Sporting Khalsa 4-0.
Wythenshawe Town led after 12 minutes at home against Runcorn Linnets, but ASTLEY MULHOLLAND and his colleagues remain in relegation trouble as Runcorn Linnets came back to win 2-1. Astley played the full game for Town, while RYAN BROOKE was withdrawn after 57 minutes for Linnets.
FA Vase : JOHN JOHNSTON'S Irlam team fought out a goalless draw at Prestwich Heys, but were eliminated in the resultant shootout.
Northern Ireland Premiership : SAM ROSCOE was withdrawn after 77 minutes with Linfield leading visitors Coleraine, but things then went wrong for his team as the visitors levelled in the 91st minute with their only shot on target, and within the next 5 minutes the hosts had two players dismissed.

TRURO CITY 0-1 ALTRINCHAM
A late goal for Altrincham secured a second successive 1-0 win to ease their relegation concerns.Truro had the better of the first quarter of the match but towards the end of the half Altrincham had a better spell. However, the interval score remained goalless.
Altrincham had the better of the opening stages of the second half and should have done better when Reddin shot at keeper Lavercombe (57 mins).
But there was litle quality in the game until substitute Ward curled a left-footed shot into the net to give the visitors the lead (81 mins).
Truro applied some late pressure but could not find a leveller.
Altrincham named an unchanged squad and starting eleven for their game at Truro City, for which a sell-out crowd was in attendance.
ALTRINCHAM - 30. Luke Hutchinson, 34. Dan Sassi, 4. Lewis Baines (c), 5. Jake Cooper, 23. Tylor Golden, 6. Elliot Osborne, 22. Tom Crawford, 40. Charlie Kirk, 14. Matty Kosylo, 20. Kahrel Reddin, 9. ONE-OFF KIT FOR TRURO GAME
In an unexpected move, on the eve of the game at Truro, Altrincham FC announced that "Alty will take to the field in a one-off, predominantly yellow kit for tomorrow’s Vanarama National League clash away at Truro City in Cornwall. The special addition to our Puma Football 2025/26 line-up has been created specifically for this fixture, with Truro’s red and black home strip clashing with both our regular home and away kits.
Director John Coyne said 'We’re extremely grateful to our technical partners Puma for their support in supplying an alternative option for this weekend’s fixture.
'It’s provided us with a brilliant opportunity to do something positive and raise money for two fantastic causes.'
All match-worn outfield shirts from the game will be made available to purchase next week, with all proceeds donated to Altrincham FC Community Sports and Prostate Cancer UK".
BEFORE THE GAME: TRURO CITY v ALTRINCHAM
It would have been a quicker journey and shorter in distance if Altrincham had boarded a flight from Manchester Airport to Schiphol (303.4 miles) to face Ajax Amsterdam on Saturday rather than taking the coach yesterday from Altrincham to play Truro City today (322 miles).
This longest-ever league journey for Alty comes with both teams at the wrong end of the National League; Alty are 19th and the Tinners lie 23rd.
Whilst the club from Cornwall has yet to win away from home in the league this season, ten of Truro's twelve points this season have been earned at home.
Indeed, their points per game record at home is the best of the entire bottom eleven clubs in the National League - except for Altrincham whose home record is marginally better (1.33 v 1.25 PPG).
ALTY VOLUNTEERS SPONSORED
Altrincham FC "welcome another nationwide success story with local roots to The J.Davidson Stadium, after award-winning childcare providers Kids Planet joined our portfolio of partners.
Lymm-based but with nurseries and pre-schools across England and Wales after a remarkable programme of growth and expansion over the past two decades, Kids Planet are the new sponsors of the club's highly-valued 100-plus army of volunteers.
The new arrangement will become highly visible, too, in the coming weeks, as our volunteers are kitted out in jumpers and gilets, with the Kids Planet logo on the back, as they undertake their duties in a variety of departments, from media, matchday operations, turnstiles, kiosks, hosting, club shop and merchandise to the fan zone, pitch maintenance and stadium upkeep...
Working mum Clare Roberts and her father John Hoban launched the business in 2008, and it has resonated with parents to such an extent that there are now over 250 Kids Planet nurseries dotted around the country, responsible for the care and education of over 40,000 children".
ALTY THROUGH THE YEARS: 8 NOVEMBER
On that occasion, Altrincham entertained Barnet and lost 0-2.
In fact, Alty have not won any of their last seven fixtures played on 8 November! It is FIFTY years since Alty last won on that date. That was a 1975 3-1 home win over Runcorn at Moss Lane.
Right: Connor Jennings pictured whilst making his Altrincham debut against Barnet on 8 November, 2022.
The 2022 defeat by Barnet was a disappointing performance from Altrincham which left them with no points and no goals from three successive league matches and, (including added time) more than five hours had passed since they last scored a goal in the National League.
In Barnet, they faced the club which had the worst defence in the league in terms of goals conceded.
Before kick-off, manager Parkinson had made four changes to the starting eleven as four players either made their debuts or returned to the side after lengthy injury absences. In came the duo of Isaac Marriott and defender Lewis Baines, back from injury, whilst new loan signings Elliot Newby and Connor Jennings also started. Out of the starting eleven went Kaja, Hulme, Osborne and Cooper.

Isted signed for Burton Albion from Charlton Athletic in 2024, where he made a handful of appearances for the Brewers. It was at Charlton and Barnsley, however, where the shot-stopper enjoyed the bulk of his appearances.
Prior to that, Isted spent six years with Luton Town (2017–2023), during which time he undertook loan spells with Wealdstone and Oxford City."

NEXT: TRURO CITY
On Wednesday night, whilst Altrincham were winning their first league game in nine attempts, their next opponents, Truro City, were losing for the first time in three outings, being beaten 4-0 at Solihull Moors.
The midweek results left Altrincham nineteenth and the Tinners dropped to 23rd. There is five points difference between the clubs.
On Wednesday, Truro City reported that "City’s three game unbeaten run came to end following a 4-0 reverse at Solihull Moors... writes Tom Howe.
Indeed, it was the first time the Tinners had been defeated in normal time in some six outings in all competitions...
The starting eleven showed just the one change, with Dan Rooney in place of Yassine En-Neyah in midfield...
A quick fire double from the hosts put them in control of the tie...
A remarkable set of events unfolded as Donnellan was hit by the ball in a rather delicate area. Bizarrely, the referee stopped play and waved on the City medical staff, citing a head injury, even though Donnellan, rather gingerly, had returned to his feet albeit with the wind knocked from his sails. Due to the referee calling for attention, the on-loan Livingston defender had to leave the field.
He then appeared to have been waved on by the fourth official and one of the assistant referees, so duly stepped back onto the pitch.
The game though was quickly stopped and the City man, much to the bewilderment of the sparse home crowd and 67 travelling Tinners, shown a second yellow – and subsequent red – after the referee deemed he hadn’t actually been given permission to return after all...
Two goals from substitutes.. sealed a somber evening for the Tinners...
City: Lavercombe, Bell, Riley-Lowe (Sanders, 57), Dean (Taylor, 82), Rooney (Kite, 82), Johnson-Fisher (Pyke, 46), Oxlade-Chamberlain, Hasani, Jephcott (Janneh, 64), Law, Donnellan. Subs not used: Stone, Kinsey.
Managed by former Macclesfield Town boss John Askey, Truro are spending their first season at national level in the football pyramid.
Askey told the BBC that "Donnellan was given permission to return to the field by both the fourth official and the assistant referee during the incident...
'I've not seen somebody get sent off for that before' said Askey... 'It's just a strange, strange decision and no common sense was applied I didn't think...
'"The red card just killed us really. I think everybody was just flabbergasted at what had happened... The fourth official said when it reaches a certain time, then he could go back on, so Shaun took that as he could go on the pitch.
'The fourth official was stood with him, but surely she should stop the game, tell him to get back on... I just don't don't think it's in the spirit of what football should be about.'"S
THE COST OF LOSING
Slough Town, the conquerors of Altrincham in the First Round have been named as one of the teams awarded TV coverage for their Round Two tie when they face Macclesfield Town at Arbour Park on Sunday, 7 December. As well as the prize money that they have already accrued, they will now receive television income.
As for Altrincham, they gained £9,375 for winning their Fourth Round Qualifying game, though having the expense of playing an away replay will have diminished that sum to some extent.
Had they won against Slough Town in Round One they would have earned a further £47,750; instead they got a loser's reward of just £15,800, a difference of £31,950.
So the Robins actually earned £25,175 (i.e. £9,375 + £15,800) from the competition this season.
Had they progressed to the Second Round they could have won £79,500 as winners at that stage or £21,200 as losers in that round.
Had they beaten Slough to reach Round Two they could have earned a total of £127,250 (i.e. £47,750 from Round One + £79,500 from a Round Two win) in addition to their Qualifying Round prize of £9,385, which makes a total of £136,635.

York City's owner has posted the following on X about former Minstermen manager, Adam Hinshelwood, who was sacked earlier this season...

Meanwhile, another club's sacked manager has his say as the Hartlepool Mail reports that "Simon Grayson has been speaking for the first time since he was sacked by Hartlepool United.
Grayson, who was sacked after just 15 games at the helm, winning four, drawing seven and losing four of those National League matches, becomes the ninth permanent manager to leave Pools since the departure of promotion-winning boss Dave Challinor in November 2021 - of those, eight have been sacked while veteran Lennie Lawrence opted to stand down last season.
Of the last five permanent managers or head coaches, none has lasted more than 17 games in the role. Having replaced head coach Anthony Limbrick in June, Grayson set about on a complete overhaul of the Pools squad over the summer, welcoming 14 new signings but the season quickly unravelled after a promising start.
Pools are yet to appoint his successor, with experienced midfield veteran Nicky Featherstone currently in interim charge at the club...
Grayson, speaking exclusively to BBC Tees Sport... said 'When I spoke to Raj [the chairman] in the summer it was all about, look, he chased me for a long time'...
'My pride was hurt because I felt that I could still achieve something and get to where we wanted to get to. It wasn't as if we were languishing in the bottom half of the division and lost five on the bounce or anything like that. We were only four points off the play-offs at the time... <> 'We'd only lost four games and three of them were against Forest Green, Carlisle and York who were flying high at the top of the division...
'Just because you get sacked from a job, it doesn't mean it's the end of the world. Worst things can happen in life and you just move on.'”
Two new signings have been made by York City who "reveal the signing of Nico Lawrence on a permanent deal.
The defender puts pen to paper, joining City after departing Southampton at the start of September.

MANAGERS' CONTRASTING MOODS
Following Wednesday's game at the J. Davidson Stadium, Alty's interim manager Neil Gibson was a happy man but his opposite number, Boston boss Graham Coughlan was scathing about his team's performance.
ALTRINCHAM 1-0 BOSTON UNITED
With Interim Manager Neil Gibson having made five changes from the eleven who started at Slough on Saturday, Altrincham were indebted to one of those restored to the side, goalkeeper Luke Hutchinson, for a series of excellent saves which kept out Boston who laid siege to the Altrincham goal in the second half. The loanee keeper had returned to the side for this game after serving a mandatory absence for concussion.
Right: Despite Altrincham being on the back foot for much of the second half, Tylor Golden found a moment to enjoy during the game.
However, the game started less impressively than it finished for the young keeper when his poor clearance put a team-mate under pressure and possession was lost leading to a penalty when Hiwula was brought down. But Hutchinson made amends with a magnificent save from the same player from the spot-kick (32 mins).
Just a couple of minutes later Kahrel Redddin earned Altrincham a penalty which Osborne, only playing because his red card on Saturday had been rescinded, converted comfortably (36 mins).
Apart from Reddin, Alty looked far from potent going forward whilst Boston mounted increasing pressure on the home goal. Hutchinson excelled with at least four fine saves after the break and Alty also had to survive a couple of strong penalty appeals.
But the Robins hung on to record their first league win in nine games and their first win in thirteen against any side in a ninety-minute match.
Match report here.

ALTY CHAIRMAN'S UPDATE
Before Wednesday's match against Boston United, Altrincham FC issued an "Update" from Chairman, Mark Luby (right), who states "I’ll make sure that regular updates like this become a normal part of how we connect with you going forward. After paying tribute to Phil Parkinson and Neil Sorvel's eight and a half year tenure at the J. Davidson Stadium, Mark provided a "Squad and Injury Update".
Mark reports that Elliot Osborne's red card from Saturday has been rescinded by the FA after we appealed the decision
- Ethan Ross is progressing well in his ACL rehabilitation and we hope to see him back early in the new year.
- Billy Sass-Davies has made excellent progress following surgery and is expected to be running again this month, with a view to making his Alty debut in January.
- Sam Barnes and Lewis Banks are both short-term injuries and should be available for selection before the end of November.
- Unfortunately, Sam Reed’s injury is worse than initially thought and he’s unlikely to return before the New Year.
- Billy Waters’s injury isn’t as severe as first feared, and we’re hopeful he’ll be back in early December.

The club is going through a difficult period, and it’s vital that we all stick together, supporters, the Board, the players and the management team.
If we stay united, manage expectations and keep working hard, we’ll come through this stronger and ready to build again towards our shared ambitions.
We held a very positive AGM last Friday, with a strong turnout of shareholders and a constructive Q&A session to end the evening. In many ways it felt like a great dry run for a wider supporters’ forum. I’ve heard a few people say they don’t think the Board Q&A will happen this year, but let’s get a new permanent manager appointed and I might just surprise you!"

ALTY OLD BOYS
Phil Jordan reports on Wednesday's action...National League : Although Brackley Town were without JUSTIN DONAWA, who is away on World Cup duty with Bermuda, they still did Altrincham a favour, scoring the only goal of the game at Braintree Town.
TYRESE SINCLAIR was withdrawn after 71 minutes with Solihull Moors already two goals ahead of Truro City, who were down to 10 men by then. Moors doubled their advantage to win 4-0.
Although JOSH LUNDSTRAM played the whole game for Eastleigh, they lost 2-1 at Sutton United. The win lifted the hosts off the foot of the table by virtue of a better goal difference than both Truro City and Morecambe.
When ALEX NEWBY was substituted at Barnsley on Saturday, he may have picked up an injury, as he was missing from York City's squad this evening. They managed pretty well without him, beating visitors Gateshead 4-0.
National North : AFC Fylde were top of the league before kick off, but CRAIG MAHON'S team were knocked off their perch by visitors South Shields, who won 2-4. GEORGE WILSON started in the absence of CHRIS MERRIE, and so did LIAM BROCKBANK. RYAN COLCLOUGH was on the bench. George came off after 59 minutes, and Ryan came on 15 minutes later.
National South : Only 2 minutes had gone at Farnborough Town when CALLUM DOLAN (above, right) set up Torquay United's opener, and by the time he was withdrawn in the 80th minute they'd completed the scoring to win 1-3.
NPL Division 1 West : By the time KEVIN ELLISON came off the bench just before the hour, Vauxhall Motors were already 3-1 down at Shifnal Town, eventually losing 5-2.

Wealdstone "produced one of their most impressive performances of the season to claim a deserved 2–0 victory away to Yeovil Town on a blustery Tuesday night...
Sam Cox’s side took control from the first whistle and never looked back, showcasing maturity, composure and tactical discipline against a full-time Yeovil team who had enjoyed a weekend off.
'From start to finish, I thought we controlled the game,' he said...
'They changed their press and went aggressive, but the boys identified it and found the spare man brilliantly,' he explained...
The result extends Wealdstone’s fine recent run to one defeat in seven matches, a testament to the squad’s growing confidence and cohesion'">

ALTY OLD BOYS
Phil Jordan reports on Tuesday's games...
National League : JEFF KING played the first 69 minutes at Boreham Wood as they beat visitors Aldershot, who didn't have MATT PENNEY (left) in their squad,1-0.
Carlisle United beat visitors Halifax 2-0, CHRIS CONN-CLARKE being substituted after 71 minutes, and REGAN LINNEY, who had assisted the clincher, also coming off 16 minutes later.
The scoring was over in a 1-1 draw at Hartlepool United when visitors Morecambe introduced JOE NUTTALL after 80 minutes.
Both MATT GOULD and KYLE FERGUSON watched from the bench as Yeovil Town were beaten 0-2 by visitors Wealdstone.
National North : Without the injured DYLAN MOTTLEY-HENRY (right), Chester suffered a blow, going behind to visitors Marine in the 5th added minute of the first half, and then having TOM PEERS dismissed for a second yellow 4 minutes later.
However, in a game where the added time was phenomenal, JAMES JONES, putting in a rare full shift, earned the Seals a 1-1 draw in the 97th minute.
Professional Development League : Captained by JACK KINGDON, Cardiff City U21 were beaten 2-3 at home by QPR U21.
Southern Premier Central : Spalding United, with YUSIFU CEESAY only used as a late substitute, were held 1-1 at home by Quorn, whose equaliser came from ZAK GOODSON.

ALTY'S COMMERCIAL OPERATIONS
Altrincham FC's commercial director, Wayne Ashall, has announced his departure from the Club...

In late October 2024, Wayne Ashall wrote on LinkedIn that he had been appointed to a "new role with Altrincham Football Club, managing commercial strategy and operations". Outside his commercial career, 35 year-old Wayne is a former athlete.
On 24 October 2025, Altrincham FC had advertised for a full-time Commercial Manager on a salary of £35000 p.a., a role which will "play a pivotal role in driving the commercial strategy and revenue growth.
Your work will directly impact our ability to compete on and off the pitch, helping us secure the financial resources necessary for team development, infrastructure improvements and community engagement initiatives. You will lead our commercial operations, and therefore this role demands a dynamic, innovative approach to commercial activities, with a keen eye for opportunities to enhance the club's brand and increase its commercial success".
THROUGH THE YEARS: 5 NOVEMBER
Howard Watts and Mike Garnett's Through the Years data reveal that the last game played by Altrincham on Bonfire Night was nine years ago when the club travelled to Sincil Bank where they lost 2-1 to Lincoln City in an FA Cup First Round match.

Above: Tom Hannigan gets in some exercise as Alty captain Jake Moult goes through the pre-match formalities before kick-off with his counterpart, ex-Alty loanee Luke Waterfall. Sadly, Tom was unable to complete the game, being subbed at half-time after needing treatment late in the first half.
On a day when they went out of the FA Cup and found themselves bottom of the league, it was nevertheless a greatly encouraging second-half performance from Altrincham at high-flying Lincoln City, who lie second in the top level of the Vanarama National League.
Lincoln were pressing forward for most of the first half and deservedly led 1-0 at the interval, courtesy of former Dover defender Sean Raggett's headed goal from a corner after 21 minutes.
However, Altrincham put in an improved second half showing with Miller, in particular, getting forward on the left. But a mistake by Cyrus allowed City to double their lead on the hour mark, against the run of play.
Altrincham continued to get forward and with fifteen minutes left, Cyrus headed home a corner. But City were able to strangle the visitors' revival and emerge as 2-1 winners.
Altrincham were without suspended captain, Alan Goodall, but Tom Hannigan returned after completing his three-match ban. On the eve of this match Altrincham had signed defender Curtis Obeng and midfielder Simon Lenighan, who both started this match. However, Kidderminster Harriers had not allowed recent loan signing, Wayne Thomas, to play.
Andrew Dawber replaced Tim Deasy in goal whilst Craig Hobson was out with a broken bone in his foot.
ALTRINCHAM: 1. Andrew DAWBER, 2. Curtis OBENG, 3. Andy McWILLIAMS, 4. Jake MOULT, 5. John CYRUS, 6. Tom HANNIGAN, 7. James LAWRIE, 8. Simon LENIGHAN, 9. Greg WILKINSON. 10. Damian REEVES, 11. ENTERPRISE NATIONAL LEAGUE NEWS
On Thursday afternoon, Rochdale were able to "confirm that this evening’s Enterprise National League match at home to Scunthorpe United has been postponed.
A local, qualified referee carried out a second inspection at 2pm today and deemed areas of the pitch to be in an unplayable condition.
With the forecast rainfall in mind, we share the opinion that the affected areas will not dry sufficiently ahead of kick-off.
Therefore, in agreement with Scunthorpe and The National League, a decision has been taken to postpone the match".
Footnote: Dale had problems with their pitch last season and carried out some remedial work but, clearly, it has not proved enough to overcome a very wet period of weather in NW England.

NEXT: BOSTON UNITED
Altrincham host Boston United on Saturday in an Enterprise National League game.
This match will be interim manager Neil Gibson's third fixture and follows a goalless draw at Braintree Town and a 2-1 defeat in the FA Cup at Slough Town since his appointment last Thursday.
It will be Altrincham's thirteenth attempt to secure a win inside ninety minutes following a run of eight ENL games without a win and four cup competition games without a victory in regulation time.
Alty did win their FA Cup replay at Harborough Town but that was only after extra-time and was a victory gained against a much lower ranked club which had played since the seventh minute with ten men.
Boston lay thirteenth before this week's midweek games. Altrincham have yet to defeat any team lying currently in the top fourteen places, having taken just a single point in nine fixtures against such clubs.
Four of Altrincham's squad have previously played for Boston United; they are Sam Reed, James Gale, Keaton Ward and Jimmy Knowles.
SLOUGH'S "GREAT DAY"
The Maidenhead Advertiser reports that "Johnny Goddard admits Slough Town had ‘a bit of a chip on their shoulders’ heading into Saturday’s FA Cup first round tie at home to National League Altrincham, but they used that niggling feeling to good effect as they claimed a fully deserved 2-1 win...The Rebels came into the tie off the back of a heavy league defeats at Weston Super Mare and home to Maidstone United, poor performances which had left them languishing in the National League South relegation zone.
There were mitigating factors for that of course, a lengthy injury list that had robbed the side of much-needed quality and experience and an illness bug that had gone through the camp and taken down certain players, including player manager Scotty Davies...
'We had a bit of a chip on our shoulder from last week,' said Goddard. 'Last week was a reality check for us, and we owed the fans a bit of a bounce back today. We showed just what we’re capable of. Obviously, a great day for the club, the supporters and the players..
'To beat a team that’s a level above you on you need 11 players that are really at it, and then we had the subs that came on. Some weren’t expecting to come on that early as we had some injuries'".
ACADEMY UPDATE
In the National League U19 Alliance NLFA North Division Altrincham have played just two fixtures, compared with as many as six games played by their competitors.Altrincham's side has not played a league fixture since 24 September.
Meanwhile, the other Academy team, which competes in the National Football Youth League NW Championship 1, was also not involved in league action last week. The team remains fifth in the twelve-club division.

ENTERPRISE NATIONAL LEAGUE NEWS
Wealdstone's "Board of Directors of Wealdstone FC wishes to update supporters and shareholders regarding the proposed investment by Nick Semaca.
The planned completion of Nick’s investment, which would result in him acquiring a 50.1% shareholding in the club, has been delayed beyond the expected date of 31 October. This is due to ongoing delays in the signing of the club’s new lease agreement for Grosvenor Vale.
We fully understand the frustration and uncertainty that these delays cause. The club remains in regular, constructive dialogue with our landlord, KSIMC, who continue to indicate their intention to finalise and sign the new lease imminently.
Importantly, Nick Semaca remains fully committed to completing his investment in Wealdstone FC as soon as the lease is executed. His enthusiasm and belief in the club’s long term vision have not wavered.
Nick is currently in the UK and ready to conclude his investment which will help unlock the potential of the club including the new stadium, as soon as the new lease for Grosvenor Vale has been signed.
Acting Chairman Dominic Whyley said 'While we are hugely disappointed by the continued delays to the lease signing, we remain confident that both the lease and Nick’s investment will be successfully concluded.
'Everyone connected with Wealdstone FC understands the significance of these developments for the club’s future, not only to secure our stability but also to continue our incredible progress towards the dream of a new, purpose built stadium. We will continue to work tirelessly to achieve a successful outcome for the club and its supporters.'”
Scunthorpe United "can confirm registered player Jonathan Gjoshe was one of the victims affected by the shocking attack on an LNER train bound for London on Saturday evening.
We can confirm that Jonathan sustained non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the attack, but currently remains in hospital. Due to the ongoing investigations taking place, we are currently unable to update further.
Everyone at the club, from the Board, management and his teammates, along with all staff behind the scenes, sends our heartfelt well wishes to Jonathan for a full recovery, which is also extended to all the victims on board the train".

For their defeat to Slough Town in the FA Cup Altrincham were without five of their defensive unit, with long-term absentees Ethan Ross and Billy Sass-Davies joined on the sidelines by Sam Reed, Sam Barnes and Lewis Banks.
Reed and Barnes would seem to have the best chance of rejoining the squad but the other three will not be available.
Louie Fallon retained his place between the sticks on Saturday but loanee Luke Hutchinson has completed his concussion absence and will be available. One player not available will be the red-carded Elliot Osborne.
The Pilgrims arrive in town lying thirteenth, six points ahead of Altrincham.
Whereas Altrincham have failed to win a game in any of their last eight ENL fixtures, Boston have won three, drawn three and lost twice in the same eight-match sequence.
Last time out they won 3-1 at Tamworth. In Dylan Hill, Rhys Lovett and Greg Sloggett they have three players who have started all 16 of their league games, whilst four others have been involved in all but one fixture this campaign.
Although they have only scored 18 times, the same as Altrincham, their defensive record is the third best in the league with just 13 goals conceded.
Lenell John-Lewis is their top scorer with just four goals to his name.

ENTERPRISE NATIONAL LEAGUE NEWS
The BBC reports that " Carlisle United forward Regan Linney said he is happy to play 'on instinct" after his FA Cup giant-killing heroics.
Linney came on in the second half and scored a hat-trick as the National League side came from two goals down to knock out League One Reading in extra-time.
It was his second hat-trick of the season and took his tally to 14 in 17 games since joining the Cumbrian club from Altrincham.
'I think I do play on instinct. I just try to get myself in situations and create space for myself'... he told BBC Match of the Day...
He was introduced in the 69th minute, immediately after Reading had doubled their advantage.
The 28-year-old pulled a goal back in the third minute of stoppage time and then grabbed a dramatic equaliser in the eighth added minute as his shot went through Royals goalkeeper Jack Stevens.
And four minutes into extra time, Linney's completed the turnaround and his hat-trick to book Carlisle's place in the second round for the first time in three years.
'I'm still buzzing. I'm loving working under the gaffer, and obviously playing with the lads and scoring a hat-trick against a League One outfit was a special feeling for me,' he said.
'I'm a confident player at the moment, so if I get opportunities I'm confident I can take them.
'"I was hoping I would get in various situations with full-backs and other players and take them, and that's what I've done.'"
At Wealdstone "manager Sam Cox praised his side’s professionalism, spirit and togetherness after Wealdstone booked their place in the second round of the Emirates FA Cup with a hard fought 1–0 victory over Southend United at The Vale.
A first-half goal from Olufela Olomola proved decisive as Wealdstone produced a mature and disciplined display...
'Amazing. The changing room’s buzzing - the boys thoroughly deserved it,' said Cox after the final whistle. 'From start to finish we looked the dominant side. Southend had a spell early on, a few corners in the first ten minutes, but we weathered that storm and managed the game with real control and professionalism.'
Cox made several changes to his starting line-up, introducing Dom Hutchinson and Sak Hassan to add pace and width.
'We wanted to mix it up,' he explained... 'We do have 20 lads full of heart and spirit. Dom and Sak gave us great outlets out wide'...
The Stones boss also praised Terrell Agyemang... 'He wasn’t even in the squad last week, but messaged me asking when he could come in for extra running. His attitude was first class and it was hard not to play him today. He was outstanding.;
Striker Olufela Olomola grabbed the game’s only goal... 'He’s an outstanding human being and a real leader,'"

"NO EXCUSES" FROM NEIL GIBSON
There are YouTube goal highlights from the Slough Town v Altrincham FA Cup tie here.
Alty TV has a post-match video interview with interim manager Neil Gibson.
He said that, in the first half, the team was "nowhere near the levels we'd expect". In short, the players have "got to deliver what we do [in training] Monday to Friday on a Saturday" when it matters in a match.
The goals conceded to Slough were, he judged, "avoidable... Certain individuals know that they could have done better".
At half-time "harsh words were spoken" and the performance improved in the second period until Osborne was sent off.
Neil believed the redcard for Elliot Osborne was very harsh as it was simply, inhis view, an incident in which the midfielder "collides accidentally" with an opponent.
After the game Neil went to speak to the supporters and understands their frustration but currently Altrincha are a "team short on confidence".
He went on to say that "We are not going to get out of this [poor form] as a team separate from the supporters" and with long trips to Truro and Southend coming up "we've all got to pull together".
Speaking to the NL Paper after the defeat at Slough Town, Altrincham's interim manager Neil Gibson said, "Full congratuations to Slough. Any time a team from a division below beats a team above, they deserve the congratulatoons they'll get.
"From our point of view, I'm really disappointed by how we played in the first half and there's no excuses for the manner of our performance in the first half".
SLOUGH TOWN 2-1 ALTRINCHAM
Altrincham bowed out of the FA Cup to lower ranked opposition at a damp Arbour Park. They can now concentrate on the league- and they certainly need to after a current run of eight league fixtures without a win.In all competitions the picture is even bleaker. This was the TWELFTH successive ninety minutes in which Altrincham had failed to win. Their only victory in that sequence was an added time win at Harborough Town against a team reduced to ten men from the seventh minute and from four rungs lower down the pyramid.
This afternoon, after a fairly uneventful half hour, Slough Town took a 32nd minute lead following a corner which Greenidge nodded down for substitute Janneh to net from close range.
Inside a further five minutes, a cross from the left by Dyce was converted by Makowski to make it 2-0 (37 mins).
Surprisingly there were no changes to the misfiring Altrincham personnel for the second half.
Soon after the hour-mark, however, Alty did make three changes and, within two minutes, one of the substitutes, James Gale (right), scored to make it 2-1 (66 mins).
Alty played better after the changes but eight minutes from time Elliot Osborne was shown a red card for a foul challenge.
The score remained goalless as nine added minutes were announced, with Altrincham's ten men largely on the front foot. But whilst they picked up two late yellow cards Altrincham could not get an equaliser.
And post-match, unconfirmed reports said that Tom Crawford had been shown a card after a post-match fracas, compounded by a heated exchange between Altrincham players and the travelling supporters.

REBELS' REVEL IN WIN
Slough Town report on "a heroic 2-1 victory over National League side Altrincham at a rain-soaked Arbour Park.First-half goals from debutant Ansu Janneh and Wiktor Makowski gave the Rebels a two-goal cushion before a nervy finale, as substitute James Gale pulled one back for the visitors to set up a tense final 25 minutes...
For the Rebels, this was a day to savour. A club battling near the foot of National League South toppled a side sitting 19th in the National League — one division higher — through heart, discipline and moments of real quality...
There was a buzz around Arbour Park even before kick-off. Scott Davies had strengthened his depleted squad with three additions during the week: striker Luke Holness, midfielder Ansu Janneh, and veteran goalkeeper Carl Dennison..
Davies made three changes from the Maidstone game, bringing in Tarik Gidaree, Tyrese Dyce and Jared Myers in place of Peter Ojemen, Brian Nelson and the suspended Harvey Walker...
After Drakes-Thomas had seen a deflected shot win a corner, the resulting set piece was headed back across goal by Reiss Greenidge and Janneh reacted superbly, meeting it on the volley to fire the Rebels ahead on 33 minutes.
Arbour Park erupted, and Slough — brimming with belief — struck again just four minutes later. It was a goal of real invention and teamwork: Goddard’s clever back-heel on the left flank released Dyce into space, and the full-back’s driven cross across the six-yard box was turned home from close range by Wiktor Makowski for 2-0.
The underdogs were rampant. Drakes-Thomas rattled the inside of the post with a superb curling effort in first-half stoppage time, inches away from a third...
Altrincham found a lifeline. Substitute James Gale latched onto a low ball inside the box and slotted coolly past Desbois to halve the deficit".
NEXT: BOSTON UNITED
Altrincham's next game is in the Enterprise National League on Tuesday, 5 November, when Boston United visit the J. Davidson Stadium (7.45pm)Three of Altrincham's current squad are ex-Boston employees; they are James Gale, Keaton Ward and Jimmy Knowles.
The sides last met at the J Davidson Stadium on Saturday, 21 September, 2024 at 3pm.
The match last season ended two-apiece. Two-nil up by the 68th minute against ten-man Boston United, Altrincham contrived to throw away their lead against visitors who, in the first half, had forced five saves from Alty keeper Ross, whilst his counterpart Gregory remained untested at all at the other end by the Robins.
But it was to be Gregory's first real test, in the 50th minute, which opened the door to the hosts. Boston had just forced another excellent block from Ross, early in the second half, when Alty counter-attacked. As Amaluzor, who had somehow avoided a booking despite committing at least four fouls, got free he was clattered about 30 yards out from the Boston goal by Gregory (50 mins).
Referee Bannister showed an immediate red card but Gregory remained prostrate and needed nearly six minutes of treatment before trudging off to be replaced by substitute keeper Craven.
Against the ten men Altrincham attacked and scored twice in two minutes midway through the half. First, Newby put his side ahead with a low shot from the edge of the box (66 mins) before Reddin fed Linney who, from left of goal, netted with a good shot across the keeper into the far corner (68 mins).
Above, scorer of the second goal against Boston, Regan Linney, is congratulated by Tom Crawford and, right, Kahrel Reddin, who was credited with the "assist". In the background, left, we also see Radio Alty's Pete Scotson.
To their credit Boston did not accept defeat or settle for damage limitation. They forced yet another excellent save from Ross from a shot from their left, only for the ball to be worked to Keaton Ward, now playing for Alty, who scored with a firm shot (79 mins). Five minutes later, Green advanced up the inside left channel before hammering a low shot across Ross into the net to make it 2-2 (84 mins).
Added time was announced as a minimum of 11 minutes and Although Altrincham spent most of it laying siege to the visitors' goal, Boston spent the final moments in the Alty half, leaving their 200+ supporters to celebrate a memorable comeback.
It was good to see Crankshaw back from injury and named on the bench after more than twelve months' absence with an ACL injury suffered in only his second appearance for the club.
But fellow long-term absentee Isaac Marriott remained a spectator from the directors' box where he was joined by Justin Donawa, George Wilson and Max Haygarth, with Lewis Baines also still in the injured category.
Kahrel Reddin started at home for the first time.
ALTRINCHAM: 1. Ethan ROSS, 2. Lewis BANKS, 6. James JONES (c), 5. Jake COOPER, 23. Tylor GOLDEN, 6. Elliot OSBORNE, 22. Tom CRAWFORD, 11. Justin AMALUZOR, 20. Kahrel REDDIN, 10. Alex NEWBY, 9. Regan LINNEY. Subs: 3. Eddy JONES, 7. Oliver CRANKSHAW, 14. Matty KOSYLO, 15. Liam HUMBLES, 24. Joe NUTTALL, 29. Jake BICKERSTAFF, 30. Harvey RANDLE (gk)
Boston had Zak Mills, a former Alty trialist in their starting eleven, as well as two more players with Alty connections on their subs' bench. These were Dan Mooney and Keaton Ward; the former was an ex-employee of Alty and the latter was to be a future signing as well as starting with Keaton Ward who was to join Altrincham in summer 2025, former player Dan Mooney and former Alty trialist Zak Mills were
ALTY OLD BOYS
Phil Jordan reports on Saturday's action.FA Cup 1st Round : ALI SMITH played the first 79 minutes for AFC Wimbledon at home to Gateshead, who produced one of the shocks of the round by scoring 2 without reply.
At Barnsley, York City led briefly, but were behind by the time they withdrew ALEX NEWBY after 82 minutes. They levelled 5 minutes later, but Barnsley won 3-2 after scoring in the 91st minute.
Crawley Town, missing DANNY CASHMAN (left), were already 2-0 down at Boreham Wood when they were reduced to 10 men on the stroke of half time. The hosts withdrew JEFF KING after 66 minutes, and added a third goal soon afterwards.
MARCUS DINANGA was withdrawn by Bromley after 64 minutes with the game goalless, but visitors Bristol Rovers, without JOEL SENIOR, scored 2 in 3 minutes, and hung on to win 1-2.
Chester travelled to Cambridge United, and suffered an early blow when, already trailing, they had to withdraw DYLAN MOTTLEY-HENRY after 19 minutes. JAMES JONES came on for the second half, by which time the home side had finished scoring and went on to win 3-0. TOM PEERS left the action after 88 minutes.
JAKE BICKERSTAFF lasted 85 minutes for Cheltenham Town, for whom one goal was enough to knock out visitors Bradford City.
Although Barnet, still lacking JOE HUGILL, scored a late goal at Fleetwood, it wasn't enough to stop the hosts winning 2-1, with HARRISON HOLGATE scoring the crucial goal. TOBY MULLARKEY was an unused substitute for Fleetwood.
JUSTIN AMALUZOR was a 78th minute substitute for Grimsby Town who had already wrapped up a 3-1 win over visitors Ebbsfleet United. The Kent club had led at the interval, but were reduced to 10 men just before the half time whistle.
Macclesfield were briefly 2-3 down to visitors AFC Totton, but eventually triumphed 6-3, with SAM HEATHCOTE (right) claiming the assist for their fifth.
Buxton were taken to extra time by visitors Chatham Town, but a CONNOR KIRBY goal in the 114th minute saw them through.
Maybe being left on the Carlisle United bench at Reading until the 69th minute spurred REGAN LINNEY into action. His side were 2-0 at the time, and still trailed at the start of added time - then Regan struck in the 93rd minute, and again in the 98th with CHRIS CONN-CLARKE claiming the assist. Just 4 minutes into extra time he completed his hat trick. Chris was substituted after 110 minutes, and Regan slightly marred his day with a very late yellow card.
ELLIOT NEWBY put in a full shift for Barrow at Spennymoor, and scored the opener in a 0-2 win.
CARL PIERGIANNI was booked as Stevenage were knocked out at home by a lone goal from Chesterfield, for whom JAMES BERRY played the first 69 minutes.
CONNOR JENNINGS (left) was taken off by Tranmere Rovers at the interval in their home tie against another of his former clubs, Stockport County. It was goalless at that stage, but County went on to win 1-3.
MATT PENNEY could only watch helplessly from the bench as Aldershot went down 2-1 after extra time at Weston-super-Mare.
JUNIOR QUITIRNA played the first 78 minutes of Wycombe Wanderers 2-0 home win over Plymouth Argyle, for whom OWEN DALE played the full game.
Neither JUSTIN DONAWA for hosts Brackley Town, nor SONNY ALJOFREE for visitors Notts County, got off the bench as the game was locked at 2-2 after the regulation period - Brackley came from behind twice, the second time with a 96th minute penalty, and extra time saw no further score. Then they went on to win the penalty shootout 4-3.
Scottish Premiership : MARCUS DACKERS was substituted at half time by Kilmarnock, as they trailed 3-0 at Falkirk. They did at least score the only goal of the second half.
Irish Premier Division : BARRY BAGGLEY was withdrawn after 59 minutes at Shelbourne as St.Patrick's finished the season with a goalless draw, finishing 5th in the 10 club division.
National North : LUCAS WEAVER (right) started for Chorley, and started the move from which they equalised at Peterborough Sports. Unfortunately, Chorley were reduced to 10 men after conceding a penalty which their goalkeeper saved. Within 3 minutes of the second half starting, Sports took the lead. Lucas was withdrawn after 70 minutes, and the Magpies were unable to mount a recovery, going down 2-1.
Worksop Town, captained by LUKE WATERFALL, won 1-0 at home against Scarborough Athletic.
National South : CALLUM DOLAN finally made his competitive debut for Torquay United, and put them ahead from the spot after 11 minutes, but visitors Hornchurch turned things round and went 5 points clear at the top of the league with a 1-2 win.
ASHLEY HEMMINGS started for Dagenham & Redbridge in their goalless draw at home to Farnborough, but was withdrawn after 71 minutes.
NPL Premier Division : Having been sent out on loan, OWEN GERMAN was spared today's debacle in Berkshire, but things were no better for him at Hurst Cross as Ashton United crashed 0-4 to visitors Cleethorpes Town.
JOEL BAILEY was another loanee whose afternoon was less than fulfilling, as Bamber Bridge went down 0-2 at home to FC United (who were without RON SITHOLE). Joel could console himself with being the only member of the Bridge back four not to be booked.
On his return from suspension, MONTEL GIBSON was on target in Hednesford Town's 1-5 victory at Guiseley before being withdrawn in the 57th minute.
By the time Warrington Town brought on DONTAI GABIDON after 53 minutes, they already trailed 3-0 at Hebburn Town. His introduction apparently did little to help as the side from Tyne and Wear were rampant, going on to win 8-0.
Hyde United fared better against visitors from the North East, beating Morpeth Town 2-0. NYAL BELL (right) again scored in the first minute, before being substituted after 65 minutes. It can be argued that MAX HARROP equalled his feat, adding the second within a minute of coming off the bench in the 75th minute. Skipper JACK REDSHAW was substituted after 86 minutes.
ADAM PORTER played the first hour for Leek Town at Warrington Rylands, where they lost 2-0.
NPL Division 1 West: One doesn't expect TONY THOMPSON and TOM HANNIGAN to be part of a defence that lets 6 goals in, but that's what happened to Bootle at Chasetown - and all DIOR ANGUS had to show for his full shift was a yellow card, as the Bucks could find no reply.
DAVE PARTON, on the other hand, kept a clean sheet as Congleton Town saw off visitors Wythenshawe Town 4-0. ASTLEY MULHOLLAND played the full game for the men from Ericstan Park.
Captain MARK LEES was booked as Mossley, again missing MASON FAWNS, were held 0-0 at home by Stafford Rangers.
Lower Breck now sit 5 points clear at the top of the division, and put Nantwich Town to the sword at the Weaver Stadium, winning 1-4. AIDY ROXBURGH put in a full shift for the Dabbers, while BYRON HARRISON was withdrawn after 80 minutes.
SEAN MILLER and LUKE WALL (right) were missing from the Runcorn Linnets squad at home to struggling Darlaston Town, while RYAN BROOKE came off the bench in the 70th minute, by which time his team had completed the scoring in a 4-1win.
KYLE BROWNHILL was the only Old Boy in action for Stalybridge Celtic, as they saw off visitors Newcastle Town 3-0.
Trafford were 0-2 down to visitors Shifnal Town midway through the first half, but SEAN HIGGINS was on target again after 80 minutes as they came back to draw 2-2. Unfortunately they are still 6 points adrift at the foot of the league.
NWCL Division 1 South : VLADYSLAV SHTYHLIAN was among the scorers as Cheadle Heath Nomads crushed visitors Haughmond 7-0.
INJURIES UPDATE
Altrincham FC held its AGM on Friday, 1 November at the J. Davidson Stadium.Whilst the Club may issue a summary of the meeting in due course, some player news did also emerge from a Q&A after the AGM proper.
It is now expected that the long-term injured duo of Ethan Ross and centre-back Billy Sass-Davies will not return to action until late January 2026. Neither player has appeared this season, with goalkeeper Ross sidelined since league game 28 last season and summer signing Sass-Davies yet to kick a ball since his summer arrival.
ENTERPRISE NATIONAL LEAGUE NEWS
Solihull Moors "confirm that Dan Creaney will be joining his former club Tamworth on a 2-month loan.
Moors Manager, Chris Millington, said 'We really wish Creans well for this loan spell. Creans suggested having a spell on loan to help him get back up to speed after his recent lay off. An opportunity to start games and build up that match sharpness will help hugely and ultimately serve Moors well'"
Also leaving Solihull Moors om loan will be Billy Corns, who "has extended his loan with Darlaston Town until 3rd January 2026...
Chris Millington, said, 'This loan makes sense for Billy. He’s a talented young player and I’m confident that the experience will continue to help him grow and develop'".
And loan movement is also reported by Truro City" from where "midfielder Seidou Sanogo has joined Taunton Town on loan until December 7.
Sanogo, 25, joined City in the summer of 2024 after he left Isthmian League outfit Folkestone Invicta.
He made his Truro City bow in the 24-25 season opener against Dorking Wanderers...
However, just six weeks into his maiden Tinners campaign, Sanogo suffered a broken leg in a freak training ground incident that ruled him out for the rest of the term.
After working his way back to full fitness, Sanogo has featured in all of City’s National League Cup games this season... scoring twice in the recent 3-0 home win over Brighton & Hove Albion under-21s.
He was an unused substitute for Truro’s 2-2 draw at Gateshead last Saturday".

BEFORE THE GAME: SLOUGH TOWN v ALTRINCHAM
Alty TV has Brian Flynn's video interview with interim manager Neil Gibson ahead of Saturday's FA Cup tie at Slough Town.
Neil was firstly asked about the draw at Braintree last weekend. Pre-match last weekend training had concentrated on "out of possession" tactics. That resulted in a first clean sheet in nine league matches.
This week they have been looking more at attacking options.
Whilst he was managing Wealdstone last season, Neil did keep an eye on nearby Slough Town so has some insights into their way of playing. Slough currently have numerous players missing through injury and Neil believes that in Scott Davies they have an excellent manager.
Neil has good cup pedigree having won the Welsh Cup, both as a player and manager, and is well aware of Altrincham's FA Cup history and the importance of the competition to supporters.
He expressed his gratitude to those supporters who made the long journey to Essex last weekend and hopes for a good following in Berkshire on Saturday.
LEWIS BAINES INTERVIEWED
Tom Jolley has interviewed Altrincham captain Lewis Baines (right) for Alty TV.He reflects on the arrival of Neil Gibson and the team's prospects for the game against Slough Town today.
Whilst the First Round is as far as he has got in the FA Cup with Altrincham, for his previous club Chorley he got to the Fourth Round and played against Wolves.
PHIL PARKINSON'S LEGACY...
Phil Parkinson has posted the following statement on X, following his departure from Altrincham last week...

ALTY OLD BOYS
Phil Jordan reports that in the Welsh Premier League, Llanelli managed just 3 shots on target at Bala Town, and JOEL TORRANCE was equal to them all as his side won with the only goal of the game.NPL Division 1 Midlands : ANDY DALES captained Mickleover to a 1-0 home win over Shepshed Dynamo.
NPL Division 1 West : There was also a captain's performance from JOE PIGGOTT for Atherton Collieries, although he picked up a booking in their 1-1 home draw against Vauxhall Motors, for whom KEVIN ELLISON played the first 74 minutes. SAM SHERIDAN was suspended and consequently missed the game.
News of another old boy comes from Peterborough Today which reports that "A change of manager at Peterborough United has made no difference to the mindset of out on loan forward CHRIS CONN-CLARKE.
Conn-Clarke has thrived at National League level with Carlisle United after he was frozen out by Posh manager Darren Ferguson. Ferguson was sacked last weekend and new Posh boss Luke Williams has yet to contact Conn-Clarke.
But the 23 year-old is adamant he wants to stay at Carlisle for the rest of the season. His current loan spell with the Cumbrians is due to expire at the end of January.
Conn-Clarke has scored twice and been credited with two assists in his first three games for Carlisle. He told the Cumberland News & Star 'I want to stay for the whole season. I’ve enjoyed the first three weeks or so and I want to win the league here.
'As soon as the club came in, I initially wanted it for the full season and maybe even further options, but we didn't do that. Hopefully we can extend it when the time comes.
'I haven't had any contact with the new manager yet, but I feel like Carlisle and Peterborough both know what my ambition is, which is to stay here for the season.
'I’m just a kid who loves playing football. Obviously I want to play at the highest level I can, but last season was tough for me, so the main objective for me was coming somewhere and just enjoying football and getting back to my best. I feel like I'm nearly there now'".
